Immigration

April 27, 2013

What could be the difference between the immigration of the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s and now? Well, for one thing, back in the day people were fleeing poverty, social unrest, and were being......

"With the attack on Christianity by the government and the acceptance of other religions, certain people will leave the country for religious and political reasons."

Unbelievable, I am assuming, however, you are referring to Christians not excepting other religions.

The recent Boston bombing is a perfect example of what Mr. Weigle is talking about. The two bombers had lived here in the US for about ten years and had received welfare the entire time! Why are we allowing non-producing youth from other countrys to come here and absorb resources that are clearly spread to thin falready on our

On the other hand, turning a blind eye to illegal aliens flooding the work force in the US, basically amounts to modern slavery without the guilt assosiated witg the word "slavery". Because we want to make and grow things as cheaply as possible here, we are willing to risk going to jail by hiring undocumented workers because we pay them less than minimum wages, they cannot complain about working conditions and if they do complain, we hold their status as an illegal over their heads to shut them up! If they get sick or injured, we don't provide them with health insurance or workmans comp, we ship them off to ANY American hospital for the best health care in the world for FREE! Yes, we need immigration reform, but not the type that creates millions of new beholding voters that will vote for their political benefactors!

Liberals despise corporations that outsource their business to lower wage nations.

But they support the outsourcing of domestic jobs to criminal aliens that have no real interest in becoming Americans and assimilating into our culture.

No, the vast majority of illegal border-crossers are like locusts who travel to the country that looks the other way while they feed off the low-paying jobs, free healthcare and free education.

Once the country is devoured, they will move on to the next best opportunity available.

Only European immigrants were required to process through Ellis Island. There was no such requirement for the Chinese that came to this country through San Francisco and who were then often forced into slave labor or for the millions of immigrants who freely moved across our open and unguarded southern border.

Rick, Are you really that blind. If you are a Muslim taxi driver in this country, you can refuse service to anyone under the guise that it would offend your religious beliefs, but if you are a Christian business owner, you can be forced to serve at a gay wedding even though it offends you religious believes. Our President says that the future must not belong to those who denigrate the prophet (Mohammed), but the government give financial support to artists who denigrate Jesus Christ. Do you really believe that Christianity gets equal treatment in this country? It is the majority religion in this country and liberals have this crazy idea that majorities are bad and need to be persecuted. The only thing worse than being a white male in this country is being a Christian white male.

"We are moving to a bilingual country.." - Gregory Weigle

Hey Greg, pssst, we have always been a bilingual country. Did you ever wonder why so many towns and cities in the southwest have so many Spainish sounding names?

The bad part about the democrats wanting amnesty for illegals is the chain immigration that will result.

With 20-35 million illegals, of which the majority are from Mexico, amnesty will result in hispanics turning this country into another Mexico. With their citizenship, they will be able to sponsor their spouses, kids, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to come here. How long do you think it will take for them to elect hispanics to every local, state and federal office? In a few years, spanish will be the official language. There will be no southern border. According to news last week, they have now become the majority in California. Check out the number of hispanic politicians in that state.

And for those who tsk tsk at the 20-35 million count, just remember the government has been using the 11-12 million number for the last 15 years!

I'm glad I won't be around to see it, but not so glad for my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, ect.

"The two bombers had lived here in the US for about ten tears and received welfare the entire time". The youngest bomber was 9 when he came to the US. His parents received some benefits under those available as immigrants. These people entered legally. The older brother received some type of benefits along with his wife (US born and daughter of an ER physician) along with their child who was born in the US. The youngest brother was in college and ineligible for benefits. (see Mass. eligibility requirements). The issue is not really about a maximum of a few hundred dollars in benefits. The cost of building the "pressure" cooker bomb is minimal. Welfare benefits were not needed for the construction.

Hey Rick, I forgot one very important one. There has never been a case in which a terrorist turned out to be an evangelical Christian, but who is the government watching? The new terrorist training material does not even mention Islam, the religion that has spawned all of the terrorists of the last 20 years, but it says to watch out for people who believe the Bible. You can't say the name Jesus in a public school, but you have to set up Muslim prayer rooms and teach Islam there. Yeah, it's the Christians who are not excepting other religions, you moron.

Buff:

There have been more Islamic terrorists who have reached their targets in the US under President Obama than the number of abortion clinic bombings.

But liberals turn a blind eye to the Dr. Gosnells while being consumed with hatred for Rick Warren.

Ya' gotta quite relying on "The Axis Of Ignorance" for all your talking-points. In the end, you only (consistently) look like any other fool who relies on verbally-delivered "facts".
