Flags at half-staff

Recently, a letter from a South Williamsport retired military vet was published urging everyone to lower their flags to half-staff until our troops come home....

The "star and stripes" can be lowered on the orders of the president, governors, AND the mayor of D.C.

This is a very good and well written letter. Every school should read it aloud to their students. Very educational.
