A couple things:

1. LOL at Aaron Weber. Really kid? Your tragic experience of never sharing the same feeling as your peers for playing at Bowman Field will haunt you forever? Get a grip on reality son. Disappointment is a part of life. You sound like a spoiled snot who usually gets his way. Making it sound like the end of the world is pretty embarrassing for yourself.

#2. Bowman Field is a complete and total dump. I stopped attending games years ago and I live 4 blocks from the field. A total teardown + reconstruction needs to be done because it is one of the ugliest, most antiquated parks in the entire country. Attend one game at Medlar Field in State College and you'll be ashamed to step foot in Bowman again.

#3 Yeah the Mayor rolled the dice and struck out with the Hockey. Stuff happens. I loved finally having a place to ice skate around here and the games were fun before they got too cold to sit through. Still not the dumbest thing a sitting mayor has tried her

Come on, people - can’t blame the Mayor for this one. I for one, think our Mayor and City Hall , have the City’s best interests in mind, especially when it comes to our kids. It’s an often thankless job, and as the saying goes: “If you’re not making hard decisions, you’re probably not doing your job.”

You’re doing a great job, Mr. Mayor, and thank you for your service to our Community.

Regardless of sport preference, how much money did bringing the Outlaws to Williamsport ultimately cost the city? If there was a hockey interest in the city, it may have been a better idea to use another facility instead of an outdoor one. Professional teams only play outdoors once a year, if at all. Why butcher a facility at the cost of an experiment? Hopefully the field is at least ready for the District 4 would be a shame if it weren't...

To all the little crybabies out there please stop . Your whining and complaining about something that is done is not helping anything move forward. Please put a sock in it keep you narrow view comments to yourself. Or get your most likely fat baseball loving self out there and pick up a shovel and rake. By the way Hockey is 1000x's more interesting than baseball just so happens the situation did not work out and that’s the end of it.
