Misguided acceptance

May 5, 2013

On April 24, 2013, I learned on the Fox News that a girl had to remove her support our troop’s tee shirt. She wore it because her father is in the military and the Middle East....

"The ((different stories came from conservative web sites)) and the ((names are different)) and the ((sex is different)) and the ((age is different))."

So many lies in just ONE sentence! How DO you do it? Oh, that's right......you're a liberal, so lying comes naturally to you. And you will tell as many lies as necessary rather than admit you are wrong about anything.

"No USABorn you never get anything right you just can't see through you blind rage."

You are so pathetic Reeder. First of all, I don't do rage. I have a heart problem that is in the last stage, so rage is out of the question.

Secondly, it is so sad when someone thinks they are sooooo perfect, sooooo intelligent, soooooooo right on everything, that they refuse to admit they are wrong about ANYTHING.

You are just too pathetic.......

Third, tell me exactly what was not correct in my comment you idiot!

Regardless of style of clothing, does it change the inappropriateness of attacking a slogan, once held by patriots in our country...."Support Our Troops" ?

Or, in an unrelated story.....a teacher fired because he gave a student a Bible? Maybe, he should have given the child a copy of the Koran....he would have garnered more support from the union than he is getting now.

No USABorn you never get anything right you just can't see through you blind rage.

The different stories came from conservative web sites and the names are different and the sex is different and the age is different.

Sorry but conservatives went to school boards and demanded dress codes banning certain apparel from being worn including t-shirts with messaging on it. Then they get all upset when it is a message they approve of.

In my comment to CHayes - 4:56 PM, I erred in the following sentence:

"Reeder, I don't know where you get your crap, but it's an out and out lie."

It should have said Hayes.

Hard to keep their idiotic comments separate!

"I have found different stories that are basically the same Middle schooler(boy and girl) sent home because of military message T-shirt even from a military base. Even college age. Wonder how truthful the story is?"

If you are questioning the honesty of any articles you read on this subject, perhaps you should quit reading the crap on liberal sites.

It was all caused by the PC bull-crap being pushed by liberal idiots!!!!

I've included names and phone number in case you want to call them.

By the way, it was a 12 year old girl named Cejai Taylor, and her father had been recently deployed.

"Just to clear things up here, Ida Temple is wrong again. NOWHERE on the shirt in question did it say "Support the Troops". The shirt in fact read:

"One family under god, indivisible, the force behind the force."

Reeder, I don't know where you get your crap, but it's an out and out lie.

The shirt was red, said "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" above 5 individuals that looked like black shadows). Below the individuals it said "UNITED STATES." There was a yellow ribbon bow printed between those 2 words. And last, several inches on down were the words, "Ft Campbell, Ky."

Thinking of going down to Ft Campbell to visit my Army granddaughter/grandson, and maybe I can find one to bring back to you.

Liberal lies get sooooooooo tiresome!

Do please tell us, Chris...what trusted news source did you get your information that makes you such an authority?

I'm not sure if this is a misnomer, a dichotomy, or simply a foolish thought?

@Bobbie@

I've been working on turning "Democrats Organized Lead Together" into a yard sign. I'm using white letters on a light blue background. I've got a line of people holding hands silhouetted in the center, along the horizon. I'll post a pic on Twitter when it's done.

I think you will like it Bobbie.

They don't care what the policy says, it is a easy excuse to cry about the lack of freedoms even though they are the ones who imposed the policy in the first place.

Sure Chuck, but let's be honest about what the policy prohibits. It certainly isn't shirts that say "support the troops", nor religious shirts like the one the student was actually wearing. It is a ban on COLLARLESS shirts.

"You do realize it is administrators in schools that set policy, right?"

It is complaining parents who threaten administrators that do. After this incident the school is reonsidering it's policy.

It's astounding how many lies you can catch these people in, as they fumble around trying to create faux outrage.

"Oh good lord, a kid got sent home from school for wearing a t shirt, because it didn't have a collar. Wait, I know. Let's claim the shirt said "support the troops", and the school sent the kid home because of what was written on the shirt."

What a bunch of gobbledygook.

Both Jerry. National Fox "News" misrepresented what was on the shirt. Local Fox claimed the girl was "expelled", but the local affiliate showed video of the girl wearing the shirt, which said "this is the shirt". Ida's letter is factually incorrect, again.
