"This year, Tax Freedom Day was April 18, according to the foundation - five days later than last year. The date has steadily grown later every year since 2009."

...And, Tax Freedom Day was "occurring" EARLIER, each year, before The Black Dude was elected President??

That's a "little" hard to believe.

We can ALL sleep better, each night, knowing those darlings of the T-Baggers (1%ers/High-Roller$) are "getting-by", without worrying about such things!

Shammy, you really are a turd. The race of the president and for that matter the president generally has nothing to do with the tax freedom day. It has everything to do with all elected officials taxing the working population with nary a thought as to how it affects the taxpayer. Our pols view us taxpayers as nothing more than an ATM for their projects and to keep themselves in office by offering OUR hard earned money to others.

Once again MrShaman illustrates his understanding of the situation.

As a working person, and a tax payer (no, I don't get a Federal Tax refund), this is a legitimate issue. Wages are stagnant, costs for everything keep going up, and my spending power diminishes every year. When taxes go up, I'm supposed to*****it up some more and hand it over. There are times when I think I should just quit my job, get a part time minimum wage job, and let people carry me for a while. It's very discouraging.

...And, that's BEEN going-on (as-hard-as it might be, for some people to believe it), even BEFORE 2009.
