I think greed and the knowledge that he was unlikely to be challanged for the crimes of performing late term abortions is what drove Dr Gosnell, not his religious beliefs. If one his adult patients had not died, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania would still be turning a blind eye to his illegal late term abortion factory. In my opinion, his unlicensed medical facility couldn't have operated without more than a few Government people turning their heads and allowing it. Those government officials and politicians need to be rooted out and thrown UNDER the jail! Ted Mahaffy does bring up a point about where life does come from, if man is so advance with his technology, why can't scientists create life from inert materials in the lab? Given that thought, circumstantial evidence would appear to point towards a Supreme Being that has designed life as we know it.

PS: Dr Gosnell is certainly a registered Democrat and Barack Obama supporter which not only makes him a cold hearted murderer of innocent children, but a certified IDIOT as well! That one was for our leftwing commie pinko cheerleading section, Chucky Boy and John....... bless their hearts!

Good letter. If you want proof, just look at Chuck's defense of Gosnell. He claims his actions are justified because poor women can't afford anything but late term abortions. And his response here: "The lunatic right." Telling, isn't it?

Even though Dr. Gosnell acts were despicable and he was the terminator, Jesus Christ loves, forgives, heals, saves and restores. We pray that Dr. Gosnell will see the error of his way and seek restoration with Jesus Christ, the Creator and second person of the Godhead. May the women that also had abortions lean on the deep love, care, compassion, and healing that Christ offers. Jesus is the great physician and can heal all who call upon His name.

Sorry, but Mr. Reeder has been defending, deflecting and blaming everyone except Gosnell.

No Eric. Chuck has NEVER defended Kermit Gosnell, nor has any of us who you consider an evil liberals.

What we are doing (and what you may be refusing to hear) is trying to understand how the horrific tragedies of what went on inside Gosnell's clinic were allowed to happen and to continue - to continue for so long and so close to so many major world class hospitals.

Gosnell's clinic is what happens when poor women are desperate.

If any of you think that completely banning abortions and limiting access to contraceptives will prevent any more Kermit Gosnells, you are sadly kidding yourselves. Before Roe v. Wade, there were a lot more Kermit Gosnell's in this world.

The best way stop the Kermit Gosnell's of this world is stop the desperation of those poor women who thought they had no other choices.

How in the heck is Atheism a leftest ideology? The right is freakin' nuts for sure. Here is a good one that shows how crazy the right is. Just for the record, there a Atheist republicans, a simple search will verify that. Now grow up.

Really Erik, you are a moron. You don't blame Gosnell for what he did you blame liberals. Conservative prohibitions drove women to him. A state health regulatory system let him slide through the cracks over and over and over again.

Gosnell deserves to go to jail but not for the abortion. He should go to jail for his predatory practices and total disregard for the health and well being of his patients. All you see is the late term abortions but what he did was far worse than the abortions he preformed.

Rick the Right is not destroying this country, that would be your destructive party who has been in charge for nearly 5 years. And I need to add again how Gosnell and Obama are "related." Eric Holder's wife was co-owner of the clinic where Gosnell worked. Birds of a feather. More hard proof.

rick424, It is historical fact that leftist ideology is based on atheism. Leftist beliefs are based on the works of Marx and Nietzsche, both atheists. Marx went so far as to claim that religion had to be eliminated for his utopia to work. You see that happening today. Why do you think that public schools today teach atheism, or that the military is now court-martialing people for daring to even mention their Christian beliefs? If you don't think leftism is based on atheism, then you don't know enough about leftism.

Chuck isn’t defending Gosnell, he’s simply trying, in his obvious way, to blame Republicans and “the right” for anything people find wrong or distasteful.
