I don't know much, but I do know that politics is full of hypocrites. Using the IRS as a political revenge tool to benefit any political party's agenda is the apex of impropriety and the Democrats know it.

Al Sever, another liberal idiot! The teaparty isn't a profit-making organization.

I imagine our resident liberals will not agree with this letter since democrat groups get the same tax-exempt status. Or will they? They don't seem to believe in equal treatment of liberals and conservatives.

I hope they are proud of all the questionable activities the dems are involved in, i.e., Benghazi, IRS, AP, Sebelius, and now the latest, EPA.

We are looking tyranny in the face with this administration.

When Nixon used the IRS against political opponents, it was evil.

When Obama uses the IRS against political opponents, it is excused.

This is how tyranny gets started.

Look up the definition of 501(c)(4) as pertains to tax exempt status Mr Sever. Or does finding out the facts of an argument before commenting violate the Liberal code?

Is Al confusing a non-profit with a PAC?

In a speech yesterday President Obama said he was "outraged" that the actions by the IRS didn't also include the NRA. :-)

Yep Premier - that was a rhetorical question there.

Liberals hear the words "Tea Party" and their brains go into vapor-lock.

Libs brains don't "go into vapor lock", they are in a permanent state of vapor lock. That's why they are irrational, illogical and emotional to the extreme.

There will be a handful of IRS employees fired in the end; it will be just a few more people thrown under the Obama bus to promote his efforts. The necessary sacrifice in war to reduce the enemy's effectiveness which helped re-election efforts. Despicable.

It is one thing to fight hard, aggressively, and win. But woe to the nation that accepts unlawfulness to promote their candidate. The best interests of the people will be soon over-trodden.

Reports show the IRS also singled out Je.wish and Christian groups.

If this story is true (and its looking like it is) some heads need to roll at the IRS. A statement of "outrage" doesn't cut it.

"There will be a handful of IRS employees fired in the end; it will be just a few more people thrown under the Obama bus to promote his efforts."

Obama's bus won't move anymore! The wheels are too high off the ground because of all the bodies he's already thrown under it.

Chicago thuggery at it's best.

Have you noticed that according to Obama, he had nothing to do with any of these scandalous revelations that are being covered? Isn't the same as him (Obama) admitting that he has no control of what his administration is doing? In order to claim that he had no knowledge of any of these things is the same as saying that he (Obama) is an incompetent administrator.

Rick - funny how the media knew all of these things last year but chose to stay silent until after the election.

The Liberal MSM won't report on any real news. They're to busy feeding the mindless bread and circus. Congress is running a triple play on Benghazi, the IRS and the Justice Department’s seizure of journalists’ phone records - that has the potential to be a game changer for Republicans to win the World Series of politics in 2014.

Nonprofits typically take about a year to open if you are not affiliated with an organization, such as a church, that holds status. We opened within the last 4 years. We began in November and received status in September of the following year. We are not a political entity. We used an attorney and an accountant. We were sent additional questions after our initial application. I believe the use of buzzwords to slow down an application is wrong. The entire process is quite long without any political connotation.

The right is in a tizzy over Benghazi e-mail that shows they made it up.

IRS is action were poor management and unsure how to classify applications for tax exempt status. Since the ruling by the Supreme Court on Citizen United there was an upswing in applications by political action groups. The complaint is delay of getting their tax exempt status. They eventually did get them.

The phone records, conservative members of Congress were outrage over leaks from the WH to the media and they were demanding that phone records be looked at to find out how leaks were happening.

The right wants a scandal so they don't have to act on any of the cpountry's problems. One way or another they ar determine to get Obama out of the WH.

You know Charles, when you bury your head in the sand you get a mouthful of dirt. How does it taste? This administration, not just the President, is completely out of control and believe they can do whatever they please with impunity since they have had a willing and complicit silent media. Perhaps the AP issue will awaken that fourth estate to do the job it is supposed to do.

LOL

My head is not in the sand yours is.

The President is not out of control. he did not order the IRS. The e-mails that point to a cover-up do not point to a cover-up. Congress including prominent Republicans/conservative wanted the DoJ to find the source of the leaks

Chuck, you head may not be in the sand but we all know the other place it usually is. That's right, the President isn't responsible for anything. How do you know he didn't order the IRS to audit conservative groups, got a good source? This guy knows plenty, but admitting a mistake, that would take courage and he has none.
