Oh, please, "Un". I grew up rc, in the Ascension Parish. I have family members in religious life. I know EXACTLY whereof I speak. It is not about the parishioners, who I am sure are wonderful people. It is all about the $$$$$$ for the rcc. As for the last paragraph in your comment: Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Shirly... Can you do us all a favor? Don't comment on things that you are ignorant to. If you were involved in any part of St. Joseph the Worker, you would know that they are a community that focuses on worship and faith. Have you ever even set foot in the church? Or talked to the pastor? I met him a few weeks ago. He is an awesome man of God with a passion for ministry.

If you look at the public record, both Ascension and Holy Rosary properties were sold for less than your house is probably worth. So I guess the church isn't so about money now is it?

Thanks for keeping your ignorant misinformed comments to yourself.

No matter how the rcc tries to gloss it over by saying it's a parish decision, the bottom line is,well, the bottom line. The decision on MD will be made strictly on how much $$$$$$ the rcc can get, either selling or leasing. It's not now nor has it ever been about faith or worship, not with these guys.
