"That would be the only way we'd be saddled with that airheaded intellectual flyweight"

Uh oh, looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the cave this morning.

So sad to hear about your difficulties this AM. Mine went fine, thanks. You project a lot, don't you? C'mon, you can admit it! We're all friends here!

Liberals embrace the notion of using gov't power to delay, attack and harass political opponents.

After all, liberals embraced slavery and developed the idea of segregation as a "compromise".

Hi USA.. simply reporting facts, data, policy and world events accurately doesn't necessarily make me a narcissist.. but, it is, admittedly, good to be me.

"As always, Erik, you are completely wrong.. I've stopped wondering if you're ever going to get something right."

Buff, aren't you proud? You have reached the height of arrogance.

You do realize, the opposite of that comment is, that you are ALWAYS correct? You are becoming a devotee of narcissism!

"...Not-to-mention the plethora of "patriots" (and, other such T-Bagger subsets) who prefer NOT to pay their fair-share of taxes...and, make as-much known, quite publicly."

Since that "plethora" includes 10's of millions of Americans, if they were to quit working and paying their "fair share," what would the gimmee, gimmee, gimmee folks do for their checks, food stamps, medicaid, etc.? The taxes of democrats couldn't support them for a month, since they ARE the gimmee, gimmee, gimmee crowd!

Streetmachine is just conserving all the capital letter and punctuation marks so that there will be more for other people.

Watch out streetmachine, I'm afraid "our" resident who battles his giant inferiority complex by self appointing himself the local grammar nazi, is probably preparing to launch into a thousand word lecture about the difference between "our" and "are".

Brace yourself.

@WKnapp

It was all the impeachment talk that made me wonder what a President Biden would be like.

When former GOP Presidential candidates call for impeachment, you kind of have to take the charge seriously.

Jerry, are you threatening to assassinate the O-man? That would be the only way we'd be saddled with that airheaded intellectual flyweight. Sarah OR Michele would clobber that slobbering idiot in a fair election.

@Chris, yep, I had an issue with the title of the letter also. Thought about posting "Just walked outside, yep, still free" before I left this morning.

@sideliner, glad you found some ramps. We had a half full kitchen bag given to us by one of my wife's friends. She has them all over her property in Benton and sells them in NJ.

@bornhere, yes you can steam them, but we don't eat them that way. We steam/boil them until they are a bright green and then lay them out in the sun to dry for use in soups during the winter months.

And perhaps an even better example of irony, would be someone writing a letter to the paper titled "Are We Still Free", that's critical of the govt.

Gavin, thanks. Have never done anything with fiddleheads, but may just experiment next season.

I did find some leeks. I was so excited about locating a just-off-the-road spot, but we were about 2 weeks late. They were tough and past their prime. But the good news is that I know where to go next year!!

I think its probably more ironic Gav, that all too often Fox is islamophobia disguised as a jihad against the President.
