Thin blue line...what kind of Christianity promotes your attitude. I suspect the kind that follows David Kuresh in Waco, TX. The Christian values that I learned differ from yours.

What better use of a building where people came together to express their dedication to religious values, than to use that building to actually act on those values and help people to be accountable for their lives and their actions and aid them through the just the justice system in beginning a new life?

That's always been my problem with religion and particularly card carrying Christians: they will tell you all day long how "Christian" they are, but then ask them to act like one and suddenly there is a problem...

Too many people believe that the 'Church' is the building where Christians meet and hold that Building in some kind of Holy reverence. They miss the point that the true 'Church' is the people who fill the building. Once the people are gone, as is the case in this instance, it's just another building.
