As everyone who lives in our part of the world is aware, during winter, school districts all around us have no problem canceling a school day when only a few snow flakes are in the air. Why then, do not some of those school districts located within "tornado alley" in the Mid-west do the same when there's even the slightest chance a devastating tornado(s)might occur. We all know that each region in the USA has its own unique weather systems and cyclical happenings. To that end, one would think decisive and preventative proactive measures could have been implemented long before the tragic events had a chance to maim and kill. If the forecast is for severe tornadic activity, it seems to me parents would want their children home from school that day or even evacuate the area before death and destruction had a chance to occur. It's hard to believe those school administrators, law enforcement and state officials can't come up with a plan to prevent the loss of life these storms h
