And apparently low information Wayne still can't read. Could it be the fault of another keyboard malfunction? I don't think so.

Still no direct, specific allegation that the President used govt employees to "investigate conservative opposition"?

Looks like the conservatives around here are still all hat and no cattle.

Apparently we have another non-scandal. So now apparently the President HASN'T used "the Federal Government as their personal servants to investigate conservative opposition".

Go figure.

I had prepared an absolutely scathing rebuttal to Christopher, but decided that he wasn't worth it. I hope he's truly happy with his binky and Pablum.

I'm really dying to hear how the President has used the govt to "investigate conservative opposition." I hope someone can tell me mote about this. I can honestly say this is a completely new allegation to me. Never heard it in my life.

" The President and his Democrat buddies using the Federal Government as their personal servants to investigate conservative opposition"

I don't know how to break it to you, but Congress is the body with investigative powers. You'll have to tell us what in the hel* you're talking about.

Sorry nobud, thought you were directing that at me. If I saw someone comparing Bush to Hitler, I'd probably point out the Hitler was smarter and more ruthless. ;)

You know what I'm get tired of? The President and his Democrat buddies using the Federal Government as their personal servants to investigate conservative opposition. When it is brought out in what limited media that isn't controlled by the Democrats, the local leftwing cheerleaders won't accept the fact that their chosen one is as dirty as a Linda Loveless flick! When will you people understand that this guy is just another product of the Chicago controled political machine and that we are doomed if he ever gets his way? I'm not saying ditch the Democrats. We need a strong two party system as a check and balance system against one party taking over completely, but all I hear from the leftwingers is destroy the Republicans at all cost. You want fairness, start giving fairness.

Chris, I never intimated that you called Bush Hitler. It was a general statement directed at the libs. They have done it countless times and continue to do it. But, I guess that is ok. I have no problem calling out those of my party when they are idiots. It would be refreshing if those on the other side did as well.

Spike,

"Abuse of power has happened with every administration for decades."

True, doesn't make it right.

That is what we currently have - absolute power.

Michael Michael, Michael.....,

The only thing missing in the comparison are the death chambers. Obama still has three more years and that's assuming he leaves office. He is much like Hitler in characteristics. You, sir need to do your research. Are you foolish enough to think the US would never have its Hitler, when we have been moving closer to socialism/communism than ever before in our country?

Who was "audited" by the IRS? I haven't heard of that happening since the Nixon administration."

Anyone who doesn't know about the IRS audits taking place is doing selective reading, listening and watching!!!

" Present day progressives are working toward an autocratic government."

Sure they are Phil, by opposing warrentless wiretapping, SOPA, the Patriot Act, and drone strikes, and calling for the closure of Camp X-Ray.

Seems kind of autocraticish to me.

Please point to an example of a time when I ever did that? I have sent some letters to the paper, and when referencing him, I always referred to him as "President Bush", which is how I typically refer to him here also.

Are you claiming that politicians (and others) never intentionally misname something to appeal to a demographic that they wouldn't otherwise? That's brilliant! Someone give Wayne a cookie and a juice box.

" The term 'Nazi" is from the German term 'Nationalsozialismus', which translates into English as 'National socialism'."

Yeah, and Blues Traveller has blues in their name, but not in their music, and the Republican Congress during the Bush administration rolled back air quality standards with a law called "the Clear Skies Initiative". So what's your point?
