Water mains: A quiet, big problem for Williamsport

Very quietly, the city of Williamsport and the Williamsport Water Authority have a big problem. It is aging water mains. The aging water mains lead to low flow in fire hydrants....

"The problem isn't the fault of anyone"

STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THE WATER COMPANY! They raise their rates constantly, every single year, killing us with sewage and water cost increases. It is INEXCUSABLE that they have not properly upkept the water mains. They refuse to answer phone calls or emails on the topic either because THEY KNOW it's their fault but they think they're above the 'common citizen' and shouldn't have to answer to them. Except that like most city employees, WE provide their wages.
