wwhickok, why don't you propose some solutions to your problem so that your public servants can act on your concerns? Anyone can complain. My toddler is really good at it.

All of you Politicians and City Employees get your pay checks from OUR taxes. It's time you start doing YOUR JOBS! We don't answer to you, YOU ANSWER TO US! IT IS ABOUT TIME YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS!

Williamsport, that the roads in this city and frankly the COUNTY start being addressed with SERIOUS concern, not an "oh it's in the plans" response. I'm sick and tired of the excuses. You response to criticism with your own b.s. justifications and excuses and yet ALL we hear about is hotels and restaurants being built, or more parking garages. Those are the wrong kind of jobs, we need quality, stable, good paying jobs here in Williamsport. We need to put an end to the drug crime in Williamsport. We need to stop worrying about attracting outside revenue and start worrying about getting this city into the shape it's GOOD citizens deserve, start creating revenue within the city by honestly helping the city, not by continuing to jack up the taxes because of the welfare/drug using trash you allow to remain within our city limits.

Another Hotel...SERIOUSLY!? C'mon man... First of all, I'm sick of watching Tax Payer Money go to 'Tourist Attractions'.

"We got the first half completed and now are completing the other half to retain jobs and grow our economic base," he said" OH REALLY? You mean retain jobs like the 100's that have been laid off in the last year + at Shopvac and other such businesses? Give me a break. Since you've been in office, you've been promising a lot. You keep talking about the roads that need fixed and the bridges, and the crime...WAKE UP CAMPANA THE PROBLEMS ARE ONLY GETTING WORSE! I'm so sick and tired of our tax payer money contributing to your Tourist Crusade!

It's way beyond the time to start taking care of US, the CITIZENS of Williamsport! No one here gives a****about the tourists, not when they come at the expense of those of us who live here, who are struggling day by day. Who are hoping to GOD that more legitimate jobs come to Williamsport, that less crime c

I can't imagine this area supporting another hotel--especially if it has $100+ a night prices.

I'm sure no matter the price it would be full during Little League and maybe for the big city-sponsored drunken brawl weekend in February, but other than those times I just don't see the need for yet another hotel or motel.

Five years Gabe, five years you've been "promising" to fix Reach Road-- I believe it was a cornerstone of your first mayoral campaign. Five years to fix a very busy road, yet you didn't wait five days to ponder the hockey deal..... Hey Newberry/Jaysburg, wake up, you've been duped.

"Jennifer Locey, with Chartwell Hotels, was on hand at the meeting. "...

"Locey did not disclose the proposed business."...

Gee, another hotel perhaps?

Why all the secrecy?

We need another hotel like we need more gang-banger drug dealers from Philly.
