The sad fact is that our governor has money for new prisons (SCI Benner for example) but not for schools. Why should people like Jerry Sandusky eat a better lunch than kids???? Frankly between the tea party lunatics and people who value sports above academics our nation will not be where it could be and should be in the 21st century. Public education with real academic rigor and high standards is an absolute necessity for our society. Excellent qualified teachers and sufficient materials are what is called for not extra gyms and play time. Quite frankly learning is and always will be hard work. So.....let's all get to work for the sake of our nation's future.

Schools do not get any money from the impact fee unless there is a compression station. Then they just get regular tax money.
