Hi Jerry.

Good morning to you!

I think that when someone does something that is an encouragement, as opposed to degradation, they should be told. Your "wit" on that comment just hit me at the right moment. Share your humor more often. :)

@rmiller

Hi. Hope you've had a wonderful weekend.

Two things:

Firstly, this letter brought nothing new to the same old debate that is rehashed here day after day. Just how stupid are liberals? (Yawn) Yeah, ok.

Secondly, reread the comments posted thus far, the world's problems? Really? I see a lot of name calling and petty bickering.

Funny the right had no problem when Republican elected presidents extended their power base, they just don't like it when it gets extended to a President from the Democratic party.

Jerry,

Just scrolling through some comments before I go too bed and this just struck me funny.

"I give this letter an "F". "

While others are debating the worlds' problems, you are just grading letters...too funny...and I'm not being nasty. :)

My take on this LTR is that liberals see big govt. as their "god." The real problem is not just big govt. (as if that isn't enough) but the person at the throne of this big govt. thinks he is the govt. instead of the leader of a free country bound by laws and Constitutional regulations that limit his powers. That's a much bigger problem.

I think all governments create rulers and citizens at some level. 'Tis the nature of the beast. Is it possible the union is not so perfect and like many others we are simply completing our 200 year cycle no matter who holds the keys?

Spike2:

There is nothing wrong with opposing gov't.

I think many liberals see big gov't as a potential abuser.

I think most liberals see big gov't as creating a class system of rulers and citizens.

Frankly, if you though gov't was abusive during Bush43, then you MUST see gov't as abusive under Obama.

Chuck - if you want examples of how completely you put your Liberal spin on how you see conservatives, you need only reread each and every entry you have made in the comments on Phil's letter "Mantra" today. Not one thing you think you know about conservatives is based on truth or actual evidence and instead are direct copies from any number of Liberal talking point websites.

Chuck - you never fail to put your Liberal warp on how you see conservatives, right? And we conservatives frequently rebut your false beliefs with examples of how you have it wrong. But you never learn. So when I asked you to explain how I see Liberals wrong, were you simply projecting your own reactions in similar situations onto me?

So you are continuing your streak of not backing up your claims, Chuck? I asked you in good faith to explain where I have it wrong. You are either unwilling or unable to do so.

Reacting to your response - won't your forthcoming (maybe) explanation be one that has your Liberal spin warping how you see the facts?

Thanks, by the way, for proving the point I made in the last paragraph of my previous entry here.

Tgrammiex4, that would be the result of austerity which is conservative. Reduce government spending, deregulate, ban unions, NAFTA was the idea of Ronald Reagan and made possible by the deals Bush Sr made when he was President, Bill Clinton campaign on it and got to sign it into law. Vast majority of Congress in both houses agreed with it and passed NAFTA.
