Of course birds are not smarter than humans. What was your point here, Mr. Mills?

Have you ever seen the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels?

Then again, birds fly into wind turbines and are killed by the tens of thousands.

Either the birds are not so smart or those turbines are death machines!

Maybe not birds so much, but I'd swear my dog is smarter than some humans I know...LOL

You know a group of birds (a flock) flying as one in comparison to individual humans sitting in a plane flying as one.

Birds are naturally designed and engineered, planes are designed and engineered by humans.

Agreed Mr. Reeder. It really is amazing thier natural ability. The geese flying in V pattern always is something to see too. I wonder what determines who the lead bird is? ( yes, I'm overthinking this,LOL)

Yes, Vince I have seen both as well as acrobatic groups from England, Canada and France. Impressive.

Yet, man, with all our computers, technology, can't have three airplanes side by side take off together at a runway without the fear of a collision. Are birds smarter than man?" - Al Mills

I haven't see a bird (successfully) fly an airplane, yet.

Actually the writer is over thinking it. The rest of us are just having fun with it.

...No doubt, the benefit of living a stress-free Life (and, not having to listen to Teabaggers whining about every-little-thing). Eating...sleeping...and, crapping in the backyard. What could be BETTER??!!!

This is simple...

Like God made the Ark, but not the Titanic..

He made the birds, not technology or other man made machinery.

Have you ever noticed that one side of the "V" is always longer than the other? Are you aware of the reason for that?

Its because there are more geese on that side.

;)

No...that's simple-minded.

From what I remember (from my conservative-Protestant up-bringing)...I'd say Noah was a "little"-more hands-on than any "gods".

Nobud...the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds and similar precision-flying groups perform the close-formation type of flying known as aerobatics. If you want to see acrobatics, you'll have to go to the circus.
