Wow. My late dad Edwin Crever Dunning was the man who donated the document to the college, something our family's felt so proud about. I have 8mm footage of the ceremony, in fact. Wondered over the years why google searches about the document produced nothing. Oh well, I'm very happy it's been found intact and acknowledged with excitement, as it is a very special piece of paper. Thank you, Sun Gazette, for your report!

Wow! The SG on top of things as usual. I actually read this story two days ago in two different national news sources and even emailed a link to a Lycoming graduate I know.
