If the hearing isn't going to get landowners the 12.5% that the Minimum Royalty Act was supposed to guarantee than why even bother. The gas companies sent the Landman here and knew exactly what they were doing. At the hearing somebody needs to ask who owns the companies that handle the "gathering" lines and the compression stations and all of the other items that the gas companies take these charges for. Are the well pads monitored by the bureau of weights and measures? if not, why not? when you buy a gallon of gas at the gas station you see a sticker on the pump, are the well heads monitored? why not? It's like the fox guarding the hen house otherwise. Isn't the gas companies getting 87.5% of what comes out of the ground enough? Do they have to take advantage of honest people like this?If Gene Yaw isn't willing to fight for the landowners until they get the 12.5% they had been promised and fight for us until it is accomplished then as far as i am concerned he wont be doing

Here we have it again our corrupt politicos and the gas industry meeting behind closed doors. If you want to try to find out what went on at this meeting you need a computer and check out the link that the SunGazette posted. It will be a bunch of hog washed lies as usual. What a joke.

I don't want my tax dollars going to assist the complicit in doing anything! When you get in to bed with a corrupt and parasitic industry you get what you get! Maybe this will teach some people a lesson about doing a little research before you let your greed get the best of you. That's all this is, another layer of the industry taking advantage of another layer of the public for their own benefit. Tough luck, think before you act next time.
