Barack W. Bush

June 26, 2013

I can't stand the hypocrisy of both the right and the left on the recent NSA revelations. Let's see, during the Bush years, liberals were terrified of warrantless wiretaps and E-mail surveillance....

Writing this LTEMichael Sullivan has serious mental problems writing a letter like this. Hmmmmmm....must be the mental disease of liberalism.

BTW - if Bush was a traitor, were do you see our current President? Can you hold him accountable for his lies? Remember his comments about wire tapping? His comments about drones? And his comments about the debt? hypocrite?

"Has the fate of this country seriously come down to whether or not we want to have a beer with the Commander 'n Chief?" - Michael Sullivan

I guess you haven't heard.

The locals don't want to discuss Bush...OR his campaign-pitch, to them.

"BTW - if Bush was a traitor, were do you see our current President?"

I've never heard anyone refer to President Bush as a traitor. I have heard them refer to him as a war criminal, because of the whole torture, indefinite detention deal.

I once saw a funny button that had a picture of President Bush's smiling face, and carried the words "Daddy's little war criminal."

This is the mind of a liberal.

Abusive power is acceptable as long as THEY are in charge.....after all, liberals have only good intentions.

But that exact same power in the hand of moderate Republican, and we hear the calls for impeachment.

It demonstrates that liberals are incapable of understanding that their fears are precisely why our founders attempted to limit the size and scope of the federal gov't....because one day the power will be in the hands of someone untrustworthy.

Erik - I disagree as to moderate Republican. I will vote with your if 2016 becomes Hillary v. several moderates in the G.O.P..I know several others who will do the same. If a Tea Party candidate is nominated we will be voting against the Tea Party rather than for a candidate.

CHayes posts "I've never heard anyone refer to President Bush as a traitor".

Mr. Hayes, did you read this letter. Mr. Sullivan specifically says: "If anybody should be mad at Obama, it's liberals, because he has solidified the policies of the traitors we know as Bush/Cheney."

Once again the low information mentality of the Left on the Tea Party. They are not gay-haters racists that the Left leads you to believe. They stand for FREEDOM, NO MORE INCREASED TAXES AND LIMITED GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE IN OUR LIVES. That is what the tea party stands for no matter what the left tells you. Get informed and not from the mainstream media. They lie.

They might be for that but those who are elected from the Tea party pass legislation that has nothing to do with what they stand for, except taking abortion away from women in all cases, gay bashing, curtailing gains made for minorities.

Patriot Act was renewed without a fight. The NSA did what the act allows. Reality has been revealed. Now everyone objects to it.

Chuck that describes probably 90% of Capitol Hill and the current Administration.

Bobbie - how will you do this ? Lower minimum wage, support employers who do not provide insurance, lower the age for employment. The why to compete with China is to be China? You will decrease abortions by making them illegal but refuse to support subsidies that help these larger and new families. How do you plan on ending out-of-wedlock beliefs? S e x ed has never worked. What's your plan?

There is a strong case for history lessons here. Do you really think this country became great with the government controlling it. I think not. The market place determined prices and wages, values and personal responsibility made the need for abortion non-existent, and nobody made babies they couldn't afford. And, if you had a farm or a ranch, you couldn't have child labor laws from the gov't because Mom & Dad owned and ran the property. And the kids were brought up with a work ethic and a sense of responsibility. And, even though only 10% of the population participated in the Rev war, the others feared of the British spying on them and arresting them. Sound familiar?

"They are not gay-haters racists that the Left leads you to believe."

Tell that to Roberts, Scalia, Thomas, and Alito. All 4 voted yesterday to gut the Voting Rights Act, and today that gay Americans don't deserve the same rights as straight Americans.

The ink did not dry on the ruling and the southern states wasted no time in passing new voting laws in their states which judges had ruled as discriminatory.

And your constant bring up of President George W. Bush- is that all you have? Can you really go a day without blaming him for something? You are weak. You have nothing to say constructively except lies and innuendo from your far Left websites that nobody in their right mind would ever cite. The Daily Kos? The Daily Beast? YouTube? Huffington Post? Newsweek? Your weakness and lack of depth on the issues is irritatingly evident as you continually blather about your lack of understanding of what the Founding Fathers set up this country to be. Your visions are more in line with a heathen Communist/Marxist society hell-bent on destroying freedom and all that is a free market economy. In summary, you suck!!!
