June 26, 2013

The depth of the ignorance of our political leaders on the effects that illegal immigrants will have both economically and socially is astounding....

Hi Tom!

Some songs just stay in our memories...that was one of my favorites, even then...it was so simple and endearing....

Jerry,

Fair enough, both sides of the aisle tinker with the Constitution's original intent. I think you are far more intelligent than to not grasp when it's not only being "tinkered with" but in jeopardy of being hoodwinked! And I know you are smarter than a 5th grader...... :)

Hi Relene, actually it's Tom T. Hall. It's a great little ditty.

I love little fuzzy pups, coffee in a cup, bourban in a glass, and grass

rmiller,

Good Morning. I hope Friday finds you well.

I am loyal to the United States of America and to the Constitution. I support (for the most part) the President's agenda. Don't confuse the two.

Chuck,

Please stop and grow up..this back and forth like a child to anyone on these forum who runs contrary to your beliefs. I was there, done it...lived the hippie experience. I left with more dead brain cells that I went into it with and it's over. You never left. I am ashamed that I stood in rallies that ran our country down and our military, while men were dying in Vietnam for my freedom to do so. I've come to appreciate every American that gave their life or otherwise health to protect our freedoms. In short, I've come to love my country, right wrong or indifferent and I'm disgusted with those person who want to change America. As someone rightly pointed out to me, "if you don't like it here, leave...no one is stopping you."

Jerry,

Please stop with the birth certificate issue. There never was a birth certificate, only a certificate of live birth. Liberals need to get their heads wrapped around that. I poised a question to you earlier. You are no one's dummy for sure. What invokes such loyalty to a person with even one lie, much less a rap sheet, just on lies alone?

Keith,

I'm hearing this from workers in many areas. My husband has Tricare, can't wait to see what the Federally run setback is for us what with Obama's love for our military and all..our co-pays have increased. Yeah, health care for all...is the cornerstone that is eroding fast on this foundation we call "freedom."

So, the Senate passed this debacle, giving lawbreakers a free pass and access to benefits while keeping the collar tight on law-abiding citizens and immigrants who wait patiently in line.

Of course, reliable vote, Sen. Casey voted for the bill while Sen. Toomey voted against.

Sorry Steeler, didn't mean for you to think my comment disagreed with your comment. Quite the contrary. Was trying to show that the people of AZ don't care for him anymore either.

USA, my comment about McCain was in response to Chuck's insane comparison of the Berlin Wall to the proposed wall along our southern border. Chuck stated that McCain compared the southern wall to the Berlin Wall. That's when I told Chuck that I didn't care what McCain said. Clear as mud? :-)

For some folks the border will never be secure "enough", taxes will never be low "enough", welfare will never be reformed "enough", the birth certificate will never be real "enough".

"If you like your health care plan, you can keep it." —Barack Obama, many times

Well, according to the mailing I received from Blue Cross, nobody told them that. My plan will be unavailable effective January 1, 2014. They'll be "reaching out" to me late this summer.

Seems people like me who don't get coverage through work, but do the right thing and buy an individual plan, are in for a big surprise. Hopefully, I will at least get a reach around.

GysgtUSMC,

I am in agreement with securing our borders, period. All of them, from foreigners...here and abroad. Other countries don't permit a swinging door and neither should we.

Have you not for even one moment questioned your loyalty to a person who lies, over and over?

Actually, personally..it isn't the Hispanic persons that are/can come across this border that bother me. It is people from across the waters that come across our borders, both Canadian as well as Texas/Arizona. Having said that, however...we have laws in place for any individual who wants to become a citizen of this country. Not enforcing the laws is our first mistake. The second one was aiding and abetting would be citizens to become comfortable in their new dwelling. I will say this and part with my fellow conservatives. Since the progression of the Gas Co.'s in our area, I've seen Hispanic women and men working...a foreign concept to both black and white folks.

"Is it your opinion that the Commander in Chief is being dishonest regarding improvements made to border security, or just incompetent?"

To put it bluntly, just plain LYING! But that is what the Liar-In-Chief does best!!!!
