July 1, 2013

We’ve heard President Truman had a sign on his desk that read “The Buck Stops Here.” These days the sign ought to read “The Buck Never Makes It This Far....

"The Buck Stops Here" will never apply to Obama. He is so busy spending them on extravagant vacations, i.e., his $100 million+ trip to Africa, that there are no bucks left to reach his desk!!!!

"Ah, yes...the Webb Weekly...our local "fair & balanced" Editorial-crew."

I didn't say they were "fair and balanced", I said "I saw a cartoon..."

Speaking of which when are we going to see some "fair and balanced" sources for your references?

Most, if not all the scandals since Benghazi have been orchestrated coverups to deflect from that tragic affair. That is probably the biggest scandal this administration had to bear. Not that others like Fast and Furious, the IRS or NSA aren't serious but they are not politically damaging enough for panic at the White House.

And the Republican committees investigating these scandals are a farce. Nothing they do will make a difference. Everything is going along just fine for the Obama administration. They are in control and have counter attacks ready against any problems.

I guess they could use a sign that says "Bring it On" because no scandal is going to stop their march to Socialism. Hillary will be the icing on the Socialist cake, when 2016 comes along.

Given the facts regarding Obama's supposed ignorance of issues about which he should be aware, Mr. Underwood's opinion is both sound and valid.

Yeah, I'm sure he's got all-the-time-in-the-World to keep track of each-and-every White-wing-generated conspiracy.

Really classy Shammy. Bring racism into a debate where none is warranted. Great way to know when a Liberal is losing an argument.

Right, GoBB - My counter to any justification attempt along the lines of "Bush did it too!" is to ask them if they approved of Bush doing it.

I love how leftists justify Obama's actions by sputtering out: "Well, the, the, the previous administration did the same thing!" They proceed under the illusion that two wrongs make a right.

And I put the "quotes" around scandals because that is the way you lefties think about Obama. In other words, this guy can do no wrong and any charges laid on him by the right has to be false.

Well....how did you folks answer those (same) inquiries, from 2001...thru 2008??

Thanks for bringing up Bush's administration. It is glaring how different the press treated Bush compared to Obama. It would be nice if the press gave the same attention to Obama on any bad news as they did to, say, Bush's 30 year old drunk driving charge.

I’ve read that friends of Bill Daley, Mayor Daley’s brother, say that one reason Bill left his post as Obama’s White House chief of staff after only one year was that even he thought Team Obama was too much “all politics, all of the time” and not enough about governance.

It is amazing how far people like Phil try to stretch that buck.

And it's amazing that this president has never heard about that buck until someone asked his spokesman about it. Over and over and over again.

Shammy - is it your position that (by your account) the previous president had similar lapses in accountability so that makes it OK for this president to do the same? Really strong defense there, bud.

Well...except for ReRon Reagan...who "couldn't recall" the workings of his Iran-Contra scam...until he remembered it.

Reagan did that once. This president does it twice a week. Yeah, that makes it even by your standards.

"And why are none of those lapses of presidential accountability newsworthy by your standards?

Either this president is a liar about his knowledge and involvement in all manner of things that we on the right are calling him on, or he is the most incompetent person we have ever elected to have all these things happening in his administration without him knowing about them. Which is it?" - VinceKnauff

Maybe you folks should pool your cash, together, and get him subscriptions to The National Enquirer & The NY Post. That way, you would know he's privy to the same "intel" you folks are!!
