For real?

July 5, 2013

We are talking about the economy, i.e., we have had a sub 2 percent GDP Since 2007. That doesn’t cut it when you want to pull out of a recession....

If I was you DKMDKM I would watch out for the conservatives here. They quickly turn on you. They have no love for any progressives.

Actually, dimwit, the problem we conservatives have with you 'progressives' isn't that blanket type coverage you wish for, but the fact that about a half dozen or so are mindless twits on whom we can always count to spew venomous drivel, calling that crap 'facts'. You are among the half dozen or so.

"Now the cancer wants to send American military into Egypt. He has sent our military into Jordan." - USABorn" "That's what Porky Limbaugh says, huh??"

Once again, sham makes a mindless comment. And once again he can only use Limbaugh? How pathetic can he get?

Tell me you mindless jerk, what part of that comment isn't true? If you paid attention to something beside the mind-numbing garbage of liberals, you would know about the troops he had preparing for Egypt, and would know about the 1,000 military in Jordan. Disprove it or shut up about it. Better yet, get back on your meds.

That's what Porky Limbaugh says, huh??

"I'm sure Porky Limbaugh can verify that."

You are always giving Limbaugh credit for something. I understand his shows are all recorded. How about giving us the show date where he said anything similar to this, so we can hear it for ourselves Or is this just more of your made-up b u l l c r a p like all the rest of your comments?

" President Obama never asked Congress for authorization to bomb Libya. He never complied with the War Powers Act to consult Congress within 90 days of the start of hostilities."

That simply isn't true. President Obama notified Congress immediately. The White House also filed a 38 page report with Congress expressing the opinion that the 1973 War Powers Act did not apply to that situation. Congress had every opportunity to either cut off funding for the operations that opposed the terrorist responsible for the Lockerbie bombing, or seek remedy through the legal system. They chose neither.

I'll never understand this love affair the American right had with the terrorist dictator responsible for bringing down a plane load of Syracuse University students, killing everyone on board. And here it is on full display again.

Chuck, the CBO also originally said Obamacare would cut the deficit, but it's estimates continue to be amended and now, knowing that the Democrats could not succeed in the mid term elections the President waited until the day before a holiday weekend to announce suspension of provisions of the law (on his own without Congressional approval) so that the dumb half of Americans who voted to re-elect the President would not see what the actual outcome would be.

President Obama never asked Congress for authorization to bomb Libya. He never complied with the War Powers Act to consult Congress within 90 days of the start of hostilities.

President Obama armed rebels in Libya, many with loyalty to Al Qaeda.

President Obama is involving us in Syria....again, without Congressional approval.

We will spend billions to reconstruct these nations, but most liberals will look the other way while complaining about the legitimate wars of Bush43.

"DKMDKM, Wow, it's nice to hear from a progressive that is closer to center and has a mind of his own. Nothing in government will change until we get rid of this tow the party line mentality that is infecting our government and the people of this nation. You need to look no further than this message board to see the effect it has on the people. It's sad that it took an incident like 9/11 to bring the people and the government to work together and it hasn't been like that since." - GysgtUSMC

...PRIMARILY, because...people have SEEN what major screw-ups can happen, when our emotions (with "conservative"-encouragement) override common-sense.

DKMDKM - You are absolutely correct it is the fault of both parties and the people themselves for not holding elected Reps accountable. "We have a president who is taking a $4 million hunting vacation to Africa."

Hmm, I don't seem to recall this letter writer complaining about President Bush taking FIVE trips to Africa, or unlimited trips to his vacation home to "cut brush" on the taxpayer dime.

You know what's interesting to me, is the President has gone on all kinds of international trips. I wonder why the blitzkrieg from the right on the President taking a trip to Africa? Hmm...let's see.

I wonder who the letter writer voted for in 2004? I seem to remember that President Bush's first term, was the first time a US President saw a net job gain of ZERO in a 4 year term since the Great Depression.

I wonder if I went and hit the archives of the Sun, and pulled every paper from Oct and Nov of 2004, I'd see fawning letters from this letter writer calling for the reelection of President Bush?

Absolutely!!!! Obama's trip, to Africa, must "SURELY" have topped-out at (nearly) $100T, by now!!
