Here we go again. Do people actually believe this stuff? So now the Harrisburg Democrats closed our Republican sorting facility... where do they come up with this stuff?!

This letter does take the conspiracy angle to another level. We lost our mail sorting facility because the post office is losing billions of dollars every year. Did you think that the USPS would consider closing the mail facility in our state capitol and keep ours open? And they only reason they didn't was because of politics?

Seriously?

I can understand how the author of this letter comes to his conclusion. There's logic to it. Unfortunately, I did some research and midsize mail sorters have been closed across the state because of Corbett's budget cuts. Corbett is a Republican.

Also, I find it strange that Republicans and conservatives are on this kick of feeling victimized by the "liberal elite". These very same people hate it when they perceive the poor and minorities as falling into victim roles.

I'm kind o' wondering how the Party, of John Wayne, became such whiners.

I'm guessing EIBS "grads" feel a certain degree of "entitlement"...that their listening-time (actually) qualifies them to make suppositions about the real World.

Shulski:

Corbett's budget has nothing to do with the Post Office.

Be better informed.

Oh, you poor babies. Republican conservatives always picked on by the liberal elite. I know Limbaugh and O'Reilly tell you that no one has had it tougher than middle-class white people and the wealthy in this country. Especially these poor eyetalians like our mayor and the author of this letter. You keep on being rebellious by sticking up for big business.

Hey Booby2 I never said the Democrats weren't bought out by corporations just like the Republicans. We have corporate party number one and two in the USA. What we need is a real worker's party.

Sorry Steelerfan, but Limbaugh and O'Reilly would have you believe that middle-class white folk and businessmen do all the work for, and pay all the taxes for, poor people and minorities. What about this "culture war" thing O'Reilly talks about? Listening to him and right-wing ideologues, you'd think that Christians are the most persecuted religious group in America. And you poor middle-class people having to pay for abortions for kids that would have been in prison and on welfare anyway. I feel so bad for you. Why don't you adopt the 7th child of some lady in prison.

Can't believe how brainwashed by the corporate media people in this area are. No one can form an original thought.

Shulski, O'Reilly is correct and there is a culture war in this country. Hard-working middle class folks like me do pay for our welfare state, and if the libs had their way, I'd be paying a whole lot more.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......I know liberals have limited mentalities, but to suggest that the PA governor has anything to do with the running of the U.S. Postal Service is beyond ludicrous!
