"Ms. Vicars, I you're not working for the Chamber of Commerce, the Sun-Gazette, or the Mayors office, you should be. I think it's safe to say, you're 1 in 30,000 give or take." - Francine

No doubt. I'd always assumed there was some kind o' bounty on optimists...and, they'd all been "clear cut", by now!!!

AGREED!!!!

Someone, like this, needs to take a break...every-other-day...and, hitch-up a team o' Walmart electro-riders (sans their "wheels"), to a hay-wagon, and put THEM thru their paces!! They can usually be corralled in the candy-aisle, and really AREN'T that fast.

Great LTE.

M Vicars, you must be a members of the Susquehanna Striders; if not, it is a friendly organization and they would probably like to have you join.

I would give 10 years of my life to be able to walk thru WalMart.

My niece took me for my once a month grocery shopping Friday afternoon at WEIS Market in Muncy, and I used a cart there also. I have to take TWO pain pills just before I go, to get through it. By the time I get to check-out, the tears are trying to flow. This monthly shopping trip takes a couple of hours from start to loading the groceries in the car.

Oh yes, I got a "3 Musketeers" bar as my "monthly treat!" I also bought a small bag of M & M's for my grandchildren.

One day maybe you will know what it is like to be in such hellacious pain.

You're one worthless POS!!

MrShaman, if you're implying I'm so fat or unhealthy I have to ride a cart through Walmart to buy candy, you are sadly mistaken.

First, I don't have time to walk 7-9 miles per day. 12 1/2 hours of my weekdays are taken up getting ready for work, going to work, working, and going home. Secondly, I'm not sure my knees would take the abuse, as I'm having trouble with one of them, and I don't want to injure it and not be able to work.

I was simply praising the LTE for walking so far. To me, that's a lot.

And lastly, you really are an insufferable ass.

If you're 200-300 pounds (heavier) than what someone, your stature, SHOULD be carrying...I know how you can avoid the cost o' your medication.

Are you getting paid to say this? You need to take off your blinders or get cataract surgery. This ONCE was a nice play to live and get an education. It isn't anymore and anyone saying anything different is simply trying to ignore the reality. I'm guessing you work for someone within the Mayors office and were asked to write something positive up after the onslaught of negative letters about the Mayor and the City.

Listen, I'm not knocking the fact you clearly choose to see the good in the city and people. But to suggest there is not a problem in this city that is growing out of control, that's just flat out ignorant.

Many great things in Williamsport? Like what? What is left that the drug addicts haven't decimated?

well you need to go back to Altoona if you see Williamsport as anything more than the trash city it is becoming...when I worked in Williamsport 30 years ago it was a beautiful little city with low crime and friendly people..now it is crime ridden and big money has moved in with the gas industry and they are taking over the city....beautiful now, I hardly think so!

WOOHOOO.. i get to say it again:

"Williamsport - a great place to grow up but you wouldn't want to live there". it's shameful what the town i called "home" has become and is now a place I cringe when I need to visit. Some of the most unfriendly people.. no one hardly ever returns a "good morning" or "hello".. <smh>

Well Mr. A**hole.....I'm not sure. Perhaps you can tell me. Is 129 lbs at 5'6" too much?

You have to be the biggest a**hole that has ever used this forum to further your stupidity, racism and hate!

Let's hear kudos from Reeder, Hayes and other libs for their liberal buddy! They should be really proud of that piece of trash.
