How about this story?

OBAMA FLASHBACK: “We Refused to let Detroit go bankrupt.”

From the president’s October 13, 2012 Weekly Address:

Just a few years ago, the auto industry wasn’t just struggling – it was flatlining. GM and Chrysler were on the verge of collapse. Suppliers and distributors were at risk of going under. More than a million jobs across the country were on the line – and not just auto jobs, but the jobs of teachers, small business owners, and everyone in communities that depend on this great American industry.

But we refused to throw in the towel and do nothing. We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt. We bet on American workers and American ingenuity, and three years later, that bet is paying off in a big way.

------------------------------------ HOT OFF THE PRESS:

"After 50 years of Democratic rule, Detroit went bankrupt today."

Mr. Reeder, unlike your letter yesterday that addressed the same letter, Jeremy actually explains why Mr. Weigle is mistaken and provides the source for the mistake so everyone can learn from it. This makes him look much more credible.

USABorn, In fairness, I believe there is a difference between "Detroit-the automobile industry" and "Detroit-the city".

Obama was able to garner political support from his move, ie the unions, the employees, and the greater community. When I sit in the Volt in my driveway, I sure am styling!!! [sarcasm] Cause it doesn't have enough charge to take me to and from work.

Ford was reeling, too. Difference is that they refused the handout, retooled themselves, and came out the winner in this scene.

The right can not face the fact that they do not rely on facts or truth.

He said the same thing I did. He was just nicer. The right is not that nice.

By the way GysgtUSMC how credible was Mr. Weigle or anyone else from the right who believed that report about President Obama and the speech he gave.

"At this time, when people on and off the Internet are rushing to make up stories about President Obama, it's worth taking the time to verify stories that you hear. If it sounds a little too outrageous to be true, it probably is." - Jeremy Moses

"Rush said that he though most people are incredibly gullible, and he felt that the key to radio programming was to reach that crowd, and that it would be really, really easy. He thought he thought he could get anyone to believe anything he said, and the more outrageous is was, the more they would believe it."

GysgtUSMC, Mr. Weigle did not give source. Oh I forgot the right when they write in don't have to. The right doesn't look for source they look to smear and that is what Mr. Weigle did.

Weigle DID give a source but it wasn't printed. Yes, he got busted on his LTE- nationwide protests to begin on Sunday after Saturday's Trayvon protests. Anybody throwin' stones here?

Mr. Reeder you wrote your letter in a fashion where only those who use this forum were able to understand it. My only point was, if you are going to write a letter to print, you should do it in a way that everyone could understand, like Jeremy did. You have done the same thing in past letters and before I started using this forum, I had no idea what the heck you were talking about. It was just a suggestion.

You did not make a suggestion and I did say in my letter discussed on-line and the discovery that was made. I did not have to give more. I essentially gave source. People are free to investigate for themselves.
