It has been my pleasure to serve on the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors for the past eight years....

You got nothing Bobbie but you skewed conservative bias. You don't have the capacity to think. Not all higher education is 'Ivy League'.

Farmer, I did so in reference to USA's post. It was in context to the religious reference of her post. Simply, not all teachers are anti-God.

Higher education is liberal. The deadhead right has spoken.

USA, not sure how that applies to this LTE. Penn is not a PASSHE school. I'm employed at one of those schools and know first hand how many programs have been instituted to control costs.

The library where I work has gone from 8 faculty librarians to 4, positions across campus are not being filled, and everyone is being asked to do more with less. We ARE responsible stewards of your tax dollars, even if the stories you hear and prejudices you may hold tell a different tale.

Mr. Kerstetter, I totally agree with what you said here, but why did you feel the need to to add the word "Christian" to your description of good teachers?

USA, that's not representative of all professors or teachers. I know many good Christian teachers. We all need to stop painting with so broad of a brush.

Comment by Anthea Butler after the GZ verdict was read.

"God ain’t good all of the time. In fact, sometimes, God is not for us. As a black woman in an [sic] nation that has taken too many pains to remind me that I am not a white man, and am not capable of taking care of my reproductive rights, or my voting rights, I know that this American god ain’t my god… As a matter of fact, I think he’s a white racist god with a problem. More importantly, he is carrying a gun and stalking young black men."

Anthea Butler, Professor of RELIGIOUS Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

This is just another example of the sick liberals who are teaching your kids........of what is available in the halls of education, from K-12 and beyond.
