If I understand this correctly, it sounds like the board should have taken the business manager's initial request for roof service provider? At least they took her second recommendation and disregarded the emotional crying from the sideline distractions.

ValleyDad987, I would assume the checking it twice list involves insurance we all desire for everyones benefit?

Actually this is hiring someone to make sure someone makes someone do the job right. Good ole fashion tax dollars at hard work!

Sometimes the lowest bidder does not turn out to be the lowest cost. It makes no sense to hire someone to do a job and then hire someone else to make sure they do it right.
