It will be easy for President Barack Obama and liberals in the Senate to overcome a House of Representatives challenge to part of the national health care law....

One good thing now is that all those drug dealers, pimps, ho's, mob guys & gals and homeless people will have to buy health insurance.

"I find it interesting the mandate for companies with 50 or more full time employees to provide coverage has been put off a year, until AFTER the mid term elections. That's very telling on its own." - CaveFelem

No doubt...especially when you consider how diligently The Class O' 2010 has applied themselves to doing absolutely nothing (...besides setting-up their Congressional retirement-plan).

Shaman if this is so good why is the government spending close to one billion dollars to advertise and push this agenda?" - GysgtUSMC

Primarily, because...most Americans are too-lazy to do any (actual) research, themselves...and, prefer FAUX Noise, Porky Limbaugh & The NY Post telling them what they (already) want to believe.

I find it interesting the mandate for companies with 50 or more full time employees to provide coverage has been put off a year, until AFTER the mid term elections. That's very telling on its own. Even more telling is who made the announcement: the US Dept of the Treasury.

The individual mandate remains in place.

MrShaman, please share where you obtain your healthcare insurance? Either you buy it yourself, it's provided by your employer, or you are getting it courtesy of the taxpayer.

I'll go first: I have health insurance through my employer. Most of the people I know have insurance through their employers, and a lot of us are worried our employers will choose to pay the $3K fine rather than provide affordable insurance, since the $3K fine costs a lot less, especially for the employee/spouse or employee/family plans.

Shaman if this is so good why is the government spending close to one billion dollars to advertise and push this agenda? The facts should speak for themselves. In California alone, over 2000 people were hired "to spread the word" of Obama and his glorious healthcare. All at tax payers expense.

"Obama doesn't care. The law is his baby and he is determined to push it - whether it is good for Americans of not."

Fortunately...despite what The Axis Of Ignorance says...it's good.
