Lawmaker retiring from law practice, not legislature

State rep. Garth Everett, R-Muncy, wants to clarify he is not retiring from the legislature, but only from practicing law....

Thank you Mr. Everett. Not many would give up the money from practicing law to put more time into their work as a representative.

I think he's jumping the gun and putting the cart before the horse. He assumes the voters are going to allow him to be a career politician, and I for one am a avid believer in term limits for congressional leaders.
