Taking exception

August 9, 2013

I take exception to the Sunday July 28 editorial which characterized President Obama’s comments in the press room last week as arrogantly stoking the fires of racism....

Do you 'Baggers (actually) believe you're fooling anyone????"

Sham, we conservatives don't try to FOOL anyone. That is the job of the indoctrinated sheeple of the left.

I'm beginning to think that Sham is a member of a minority seeing as how, one way or another, he tries to bring racism into every LTE.

Despite what you THINK you might be accomplishing...you're not fooling anyone...and, it's been MORE-than-obvious what's been driving the White-Wingers' spastic lil' lemming-dance, ever since November 2008."

WOW, the AXIS of Ignorance is doing a fantastic job of indoctrinating Sham!

President Obama is starting to gear up the blame machine again. He wants to blame the Republicans for being obstructions to the roll out of ObamaCare.

Mr. President, the democrat controlled legislature and you crafted the legislation and signed it into law. Now your executive branch is charged with implementing your legislation plan. Why can't you take credit for failures to implement it it; you are starting to shift blame to the Republicans. Please stop it. We are tired of your blaming others.

Sham,"While the folks, in Sheets-and-Hoods, have "only" used "The Good Book" to justify their bombings, lynchings & murder"

Don't you just love how liberals use things they hate to justify the hateful things they do. The racism of Sharpton and Jackson are good, because the racism of the KKK is bad. I happen to think that racism is bad in all cases. Sham seems to believe that racism is fine as long as it is racism against a group of people he doesn't like. I guess that would make Sham a racist. That and he hates Christians, because they believe in God. Strange that he doesn't hate Muslims. I guess he only hates people who believe in the real God.

"The President's remarks both before and after the trial should have been, "I'm not going to comment on an open investigation, next question". It is the same thing police departments across the country say and it's the same thing both the President and Holder should have said. Period. And if you're wondering why I say after the trial too, it's because this is STILL an open justice department investigation." - Capricorn1

How "odd" that White-Wingers never considered that possibility, during the aftermath of Benghazi!!!

I guess (somehow) that was "different", right??

I have to fall on my sword here. I just reread PA Stand your ground law and while there is no requirement that an attacker in your home or car have a weapon before the use of lethal force, there is such a requirement in public. The definition is sufficiently broad, however to render the requirement moot. It specifies that the attacker "displays or otherwise uses" a firearm or "any other weapon readily or apparently capable of lethal use." This could easily be used to justify lethal force against an attacker of sufficient size that he could cause death or serious bodily injury using just his hands and feet. I would not want to be the one to try this out in front of a jury, but it should work. As I've said, it makes no sense to require more than that the attacker has the ability to kill and that he seems to be intent on doing so.

Sideliner, when a president stands before the country and comments on a case that caused such racial hysteria with no facts to back up that hysteria, he is merely fueling the same. This case should have never reached the level of notoriety that it did." - Capricorn1

Shaman once again you are so far out there and you site references that have absolutely nothing to do with the discussion. You are totally obsessed with Bush, the Tea Party, Fox News, Rush and Glenn Beck that you think of anything just to reference them whether it makes any sense or not. I can't even imagine what it would be like to actually sit down and have an intelligent conversation with you without hearing a garbled mess of the axis of ignorance with you tube videos playing in the background. Get a clue my friend. Your narcissism is making you look foolish.

Shaman I'm curious to find out what you heard on the 911 call that makes you believe that this was racially motivated. Unless of course you're talking about the "edited" version from NBC. Please tell me the facts you know that the district attorney, states attorney, FBI and the Justice Department doesn't know. I will be waiting for your response. Oh, and you may want to give Holder a call, his investigation is still open and he's waiting for the facts you have.
