Bobbie - methadone is classified as a "life-saving" drug. Who would you like to prescribe this? Where did you get the idea that Dr.'s can't be sued? Have you heard of malpractice? enoughalready - isn't the Crippled Bear close enough?

Just being cynical but..... the township that won't allow a bar will have a methadone clinic?

This is a clinic run by Dr.'s who specialize in addictions. This is in no way comparable to the situation years ago. Either people face the breadth and scope of addiction in our county, i repeat "our". Residency requirements would be in place along with psychological intervention through licensed professionals. it's time people wake up and realize addiction is concurring at alarming rates with local residents and their children. You may find this hard to believe but all addicts are not felons. Addicts are not all low-life. Addicts already know each other. ****** addicts don't "party". We aren't talking about alcoholics and pot smokers. The comments below only show the very low information level of most regarding ******. As to fromtheport - I'm not sure you understand the difference between a medical clinic and the "recovery houses" of the late '80's and 90's. Why don't both of you call for additional info. The number is in the W E B B weekly.

Put that clinic as far from Williamsport as you can. That right there.. that's what happened in the 80's, look at Williamsport now. Putting clinics and rehabs in for low-life drug addicted felons. Now e have a problem thta is spiraling out of control.
