@Born. salinity levels need to be under a certain % to go down hole. I believe around 30-35%. They also encounter pressure spikes with the heavier water. They supplement with fresh water. And then there's the logistics, 7000bbl/stage(average) X 13 stages X 6 wells/pad. There's just not enough flowback coming up if u could use 100%.

Rick...I agree with you and this invisible statement is such a joke....look around in that area...anything would be invisible...that area is a pig pen!...I hope one present and 2 past supervisors are happy as clams for allowing anything to go in OLT....!!!!!
