I live in the Robert Montgomery complex, in the elderly/disabled bldg. A couple of years ago Lycoming Housing Authority received a grant of sort, how much remains a mystery, and put in a water fountain for the children in the family units. Needless to say it was only used aprox. 1 yr and never used again. How and why would HUD allocate monies for LHA when clearly they are mismanaged ?

Nobud, I agree and they need to manage these properties better to ensure they are taken care of. Campana needs to clean up these areas first on his quest to rid the city of undesirables.

There is a small project down here in Montgomery. 1 bldg. is seniors, 1 is family units. It is always kept clean and in good repair.Very quiet neighborhood. The tenants appear to care about where they live and do take care of thier places.

Sure, let's just toss more money at this. I remember when they put the new PennVale units in and one of the contractors told me the residents were destroying them almost immediately. How about if we boot them out if they don't take care of their unit?
