Mr. Cohick is quite passionate about the natural gas industry in general but seems to have an "if there's nothing in it for me" attitude.

A few months ago he was saying they should expand gas lines to everyone in PA.

So I'm wondering if his anti-gas stand would be so strong if he had a gas meter outside his home?

I'm pretty sure that Mr. Cohick, based upon his past letters, is very much ANTI Marcellus Gas Industry. I would venture to guess the Sun Gazette did some major editing to his letter.

Francine, That was a polite way to describe a less than well worded LTE. I believe he was trying to say that to some money trumps, & pardons any actions.

Nice try Mr. Cohick but you did fail to prove that the report was false or contrived.

If the fracking fluid is so harmless they should be listing what is in it instead of leaving it shrouded in secrecy. How many involved in the investigation have no ties to the gas industry?

I guess Mr. Cohick would like an article about a couple celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary to include a listing of their fights and testimony from neighbors saying they were not always a happy couple.

Mr. Cohick, we could write letters to the editor all day pointing out biases within the different media outlets and the stories they cover. The article you are referencing is no different. If you wish to hear both sides of the issue, do your research and form your own conclusion.

Garben78, Thanks, I was hoping it wasn't just me. Weldon wrote this whole letter and said nothing. I did get kind of a vague felling that he doesn't like fracking, but I couldn't tell for sure.
