Reeder, could you please just leave your comments about individual letters in this comments section that was designed for just that. You seem to have a fascination to make sure everyone possible reads your opinions. By the way, I knew it was another one of your letters after the first couple lines. You have become so predictable.

"How would you define a true liberal, Mr. Reeder? That's not a trick question, I'm just curious."

Don't worry Francine, I'm sure he'll submit another letter to answer your question. The other morning my elderly mother said to me, "who the heck is this Reeder guy? Doesn't he have anything better to do than write stuff to the paper that makes no sense?" I just had to walk away and shake my head.

Reeder knows about history only what he hears from the voices in his head. And also from what he reads on Liberal websites.

Chuck assumes that classical Liberals and social Liberals (the group he is in) are the same thing. Like most labels Liberals use, they stole the term "Liberal" during the last century. Todays Liberal is very different than a Liberal from 100 or 200 years ago.

Someone asked me why I always capitalize Liberal here. It's because religions should always be capitalized.

"You may have the same terminology as liberals but you do not have the same principles as liberals, then or now."

Truer words have never been spoken. As a conservative I was taught to work, contribute to society and give generously.

Once again, I knew who wrote the letter after the first couple sentences. Reeder is really going overboard to let everyone who reads the SG, either on line or on paper, know what an idiotic blowhard he really is.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I personally try to make it a point to never submit things I write while in a drunken stupor. Clearly this is not one of Chucks criterion.

Hey, lighten up. We have suffered worse letters for the past 10 days. Have you already forgotten those intriguing two-liners.

Chuck,"Good luck in selling your property after that revelation!"

Really Chuck? This guy's LTE is what will make it hard to sell the house? Do you think nobody knows about the crime problems in parts of the city? I have to admit that I also thought that he would have a hard time selling the house, but in my case It wasn't a mocking thought, but a thought of compassion. This guy will have a hard time and lose money through no fault of his own, but Chuck doesn't care about that. Chuck's not only clueless, but downright mean as well.

How would you define a true liberal, Mr. Reeder? That's not a trick question, I'm just curious.-Francine

This truly is an excellent question. You could start with Webster, but it might not be up to "political" date. I believe that it could be argued, by which "era" you are referring to. E.g.- "Gay" at one time meant to be happy, I would doubt that anyone under 40 thinks of this word in those terms today.

..And ONLY conservatives do this, and ONLY conservatives are true patriots, ONLY conservatives are moral, ONLY conservatives are Christians, ONLY conservatives KNOW what the Founding Fathers meant, ONLY conservatives "get it". The list goes on, & on.
