Scott, I wouldn't consider anyone my opponent just because they have different political views than I do.-Capricorn1

Cap., Like the terminology or not, if you are having a discussion from different "sides' or "camps" or differing political views, they are your "opponent". It does not mean that you must despise them, or hate them, or consider them a mortal enemy. It simply means that you are both trying to make your point from differing perspectives. So, yes on most issues I consider the opposing point of view my "opponent". I also enjoy reading, but IMO, it is unwise to ignore "1st. hand" information, from those with whom you have disagreements. When you "arm" yourself with watching, listening, & reading for yourself, you usually do not have to run from own comments. Just my experience.-Scott

cricket, He also says, "with half my brain behind my back"(just to make it fair)

He also says "talent on loan from god"- I seriously will leave that one alone.

Try to keep up, I know he uses very simple phrases so as not to confuse his "disciples", so it is a pretty sorry state of affairs when you get "lost" to someone of his variety.

Scott, I wouldn't consider anyone my opponent just because they have different political views than I do. I enjoy reading so I prefer the internet for my news sources. I used to channel surf between CNN, Fox and MSNBC but I got so tired of listening to the talking heads on all three of them doing nothing but aiding in the division of this country. I prefer just reading the news on sites like Reuter's, U.S. News Weekly and USA Today.

Bobbie, Yes Harry Reid said something stupid.(at least IMO) What would your life be like if every unsmart(do not want to offend)thing to originate from you were to be exploited?---Now go ahead, I gift wrapped an opening for you to insult my IQ.

Scott why do you even listen to that garbage. It's definitely NOT excellence in broadcasting! -Capricorn1

Agreed, However if I want to argue a point against conservative points of view, I should at least listen to one of their foremost leaders. I even got to listen to John Boehner call him to discuss The debt ceiling limit about a year or so ago. I even personally got to hear his s*l*u*t statements live. Cap., You of all the posters here should understand the value of knowing your opponent--Scott

36IQ "I personally only heard it over,& over,& over again on "eib"

"eib" put it in context the same as "eib" put Harry Reid's statement that he believed Barack Obama was well suited to a presidential run because he is a "light-skinned" African American "with no ***** dialect, unless he wanted to have one". Of course anyone with half a brain understood that..." - Bobbie2

I'll take your word on that.

I remember it as being less venomous in my life time. Carter/Regan/Andersen was about policy." - JerryfromRI

Unfortunately, for Republicans, they could only "get" Carter for his emphasis on Big Oil's impact on our economy.

"@ Jerry, no. I am just tired of it being thrown out there every time someone disagrees with President Obama."

--

Hey Gavin - Well, I think that what some on the left have forgotten is just how much some of those on the right really hate the left.

They see the over the top attacks on the President and his policies and conclude that the attacks are so out of proportion that they MUST be racially motivated.

They've forgotten that the attacks on the Clintons were just as over the top." - JerryfromRI

...And, Carter, before him.

Face it, Republicans. Nixon was an outta-control paranoid, and HAD to go!!!

Get over it.

I would suggest, Obama is (only) the LATEST Dem President that Republicans have attempted to "get", as payback for Nixon being jettisoned from the Whitehouse. The fact he's Black (only) makes Republicans' latest-efforts more "palatable" (to racists/bigots), 'cause Republicans started-out shooting "blanks", anyhow...and, got SMACKED for it!!!

Thanks Gavin! Our community has many interracial marriages of many successful people. This is an even more common occurrence among younger people and this is all race inclusive. The larger the area, the more common interracial occurs, the more accepted it becomes. Best wishes to you and your wife!

What IS the (typical) timeline on FAUX Noise obsessions? Can we expect the same length-of-time (for white-on-black/black-on-white crimes), as we did for Benghazi...or, because it's race-related...is FAUX Noise a "little"-more "sensitive"/consumed??

This morning on FOX...a marine beat up severely for defending a black young man. Oh my, the marine was defending a black person and three white people turned on him and beat him up, badly. Anyone want to venture who the racist was? I'm hoping the Sharpton's and the Jackson's of the racist groups in our country jump on this as an example of how some of we white folks really are not racist. But, I'm not holding my breath. Oh, and let me know please, if other networks put this wonderful story out.
