"For those of you who are much younger than me, there was a heck of a lot that wasn't good for anyone back then. More simple, yes, but better and happier than now? No way. So, for those who long for the good old days, be careful what you wish for." - Francine

Exactly! I'm always amused, at those young "conservatives" (in their mid-to-late 20s), who long for a return to the "good ol' '50s"...back, when women "KNEW their place"...especially when it came to political-participation!!!

Well I guess that you get two lessons in one week. Did you find a new church to move your membership to yet? Do they align with your preferences?

I realize there was a lot and I even trimmed it down. I am glad that you enjoyed portions of it and thank-you for the kind words. Trying to shine a little light in the world. I'll try to be more selective next time.

Ahh yes, spoken like a true liberal. I wonder how many liberals occupy our country's prisons because they got that feel good "time out discipline" instead of some good old fashion spankings." - Capricorn1

My guess would be...none. What BETTER example of "confinement", than some in-house/time-out room.

You "conservatives" never were the most-creative people...unless you were INTENTIONALLY creating drunken bar-fighters, with those "good old fashion spankings".

Bitter? Nahhh.Tired of the lib whining? Yup. So tell me Mr. Shaman, you spend more time on here with your little rants than anyone. How "constuctive" is that? Do you simply ignore comments you don't agree with?

Shaman, you hate those nasty absolutes, yet you label everyone a "tea bagger" if they aren't a liberal or they disagree with you. You are totally obsessed with the Tea Party.

I have thought this in the past, What is the difference between a "GOOD" letter, and a "STUPID" letter on these LTE's? Usually nothing more than the name on the bottom of it.

I understand that not all folks did have a great one, but blaming those who did isn't the answer. If anything, it would make me more determined to make it better for the next generation.
