Mim, you can keep the low income in the city where it was attracted to. Don't try to spread your trash throughout the rest of the county.

Thanks to those of you who welcomed me back. I have been home from the hospital for a couple days and am now receiving massive doses of a very strong anti-biotic at home. My niece and nephew trained to give them to me, and I thank them profusely. Each injection takes about 15 minutes. Sepsis is rough!!

It is now almost 3:00 am and I just got home from a trip to the ER. I had the most horrendous pain imaginable! Five more injections! Again, thank you to my nephew for taking and staying with me.

I don't know how much longer I will be able to take the pain, but until I decide what to do, I will continue making phone calls, and sending faxes and emails to the District of Corruption. My grandchildren and great-grandchildren do not deserve what they are being saddled with, thanks to politicians.

By the way, got me new 2014 info from insurance company. Higher premiums, higher co-pays and higher out-of-pocket deductible. Thank you Dumbacare!

Garben78,"Just sell your rentals already"

I'm sure many landlords would love to, but property in many parts of the city aren't worth anything anymore. With the threats coming from the mayor and council, I can't believe anyone would buy residential property in the city.

USA, I live right around the corner from the housing units in Montgomery. There is a Family Units Bldg. and a Seniors Bldg. You NEVER see police over there, once in a while fire/amb. at the senior bldg. Very quiet neighborhood. You also see kids supervised when they play at the playgound area. The complex is kept neat & clean.

"Follow the money who is getting rich here?,1- The non profits need to cough up more in impact fees,(citty borrowing) 2- 70% of the low income housing(crime & costs up) is in williamsport and must be dispersed throughout the county"

Don't know about the rest of the county, but Muncy, Montgomery and Hughesville all have housing for low income people. Apparently they keep better watch on their renters since you don't read about them in the SG all the time!

Ms. Logue, if your rental cause you soooo much frustration ,expense and headaches, why don't you just sell them? It sounds like there are more negative atributes to being a landlord than positives, at least to hear you tell it.Who needs all the stress you are obviously experiencing? The solution is obvious.

Guys you are trying to talk intelligently and logically with Mim...it's not gonna work! She isn't capable of holding a thoughtful conversation with anyone! She just runs on emotion instead of rational thinking. I feel bad for her tenants that live in her dumps that have to put up with her! Imagine trying to get something fixed or even goin through her leases...my lord would that be a headache and half

Why yes Mim, I have had that happen. Unlike you, I am able to listen to others. I am also able to get my point across without sounding like a blathering idiot. You on the other hand, have been demonstrating your lack of intelligence and comprehension on these boards without results for far to long. Have you ever thought if you changed your method someone might actually listen to what you have to say? Oh, and God bless Ken Sawyer for putting up with you for so long.

Mim, I already gave you suggestions several times. Power comes in numbers and if all the landlords have a problems with city administration them form a local association and come up with problems and solutions for those problems and request a forum with the mayor and city Council. With regards to the proposed ordinance, your association should approach the mayor and ask him for hard data on how this same ordinance, that has been used in other cities, has not only been able to reduce crime, but was successful in changing federal census numbers. Those are the two reasons the mayor is using in his fight to get this passed, so he should have hard data available. If he does and this ordinance has been successful in other cities, then you have an uphill climb. If he doesn't and it has not been successful, then you have some ammunition for your cause. But your first step is getting a coalition of landlords in this area. Your current approach will solve nothing.

Mim, if the landlords of this city were to get together and form an association, I doubt they would get anything done as long as you were attending the meetings with your attitude. And god forbid if you were the spokesperson for that association. You really need to tone it down and stop the constant ranting because honestly, few are taking you seriously anymore. I understand you have issues with the city, but your approach needs work.
