Rick424,

I don't understand your obsession with gay people.

Many of them are hard workers, helpful, nice, amiable, friendly, compassionate, etc. They can be nice individuals to be around and we do/should love them.

Men can not procreate with men and women can not procreate with women. If you are disappointed or angry with that then go register your complaint with God and tell Him that his Bible is wrong. Don't get angry with Christians that point the verses out to you; they didn't set the rules; they are not the judge.

Still not seeing how Obama is destroying the family unit Texas. Please site examples. Maybe it is his view on gays? If that is so, I know many gay couples that are far more "family friendly" then some of the posters Semmelweis to be on here.

As-far-as "the real issue" goes, I've NOT (only) accused others of racism. I've always made every effort to describe them as lazy, as well. -Shaman

And that's just one reason no one takes you seriously. You are part of the problem with race relations in this country and you don't have the courage or the facts to discuss the real issues. It's just easier for you to sit back and call everyone a racist. Meanwhile many in the black community will remain in the welfare state.

Shaman, I would not label it a talking point. The fact that 3 out of 4 black children are raised in fatherless homes is more of an epidemic and a real issue." - Capricorn1

...MORE of an "epidemic" than the fact MOST welfare-checks go to White-people??? -Shaman

Not sure where you get your numbers but you better do a little bit more research. And this time factor in the percentage of Americans that are black. You attempt to mislead falls on deaf ears.

Sham - 6:35 AM - wrong as usual.

According to the government:

Welfare, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) supported about 5 million Americans in 2002, of whom 37%, or 1.85 million were Black and 32% or 1.6 million were White.

2010 Population demographics for 309 million Americans was 72.4% White and 12.6% Black, so approximately 0.7% of Whites and 4.8% of Blacks collect TANF.

"all I see is whining from the right, I am still waiting for an answer to your comment from earlier."--rick424

+

Then you are blind. Many people that write into these LTE's are whining in some form or fashion. There are also logical exchanges of information, persuasive rhetoric, and name calling but much of it is whining from all sides.

Concerning my answer to your question, it has been answered previously many times in the past and most of those answers have come from the Bible. You choose to ignore them and then want to call people judgemental, haters, bigots, etc. The truth is that there is a deep seated love for people of all kinds and a call to repentance and following of Christ for all of our own betterment. If you don't want to believe and follow God's word, then you have the free-will to ignore. God offers grace and forgiveness for all; only some want to receive Him.

God wants to receive the people; they should leave their baggage behind.
