Liberal hypocrisy

September 29, 2013

There was a shooting at the D.C. Navy Yard recently. Before the bodies could be counted, our media and liberal politicians began the typical gun control talk....

Maybe the House GOP guys are on to something...

Maybe the Senate should demand stuff too. Maybe the Senate should demand a CO2 limiting cap & trade plan to go along with the CR.

Accept Cap & trade or we're shuttin' dis place down!

"Our government is incapable of policing its own employees and contractors. Our government constantly fails to execute the most simple management duties. Yet liberals want to tell us that expanded background checks, bans and taxes on law abiding citizens will protect us from armed lunatics. They can't even protect their own." - Erik Latranyi

...And, the ONLY "cure" would be MORE TAX-CUTS!!!!!

Right?

FortySixand2 your little childish Benghazi! remark in all your comments is a slap in the face to the families of the victims. I understand that you may find it a joke to mock that tragedy, but IMO it's in very poor taste.

Hey Gavin - We often seem to find some middle ground on most issues but I don't think we're going to agree on who gets the credit/blame for this latest government shut down.

This time around it all Tea Party Republicans in the House and no one else. They don't have the votes to undo Obamacare and they're going to hold the country hostage until they get their way.

PS: If Obama "had a pair" he would threaten to veto ANY CR and demand a budget.

gavinf56-"The last time I checked, there were 2 political parties, requiring that each one work together to make the Government run. When both parties position is "my way or the highway", it is both parties who are responsible if the Government shuts down."

Not in Chuck's demented alternate universe.

They're not? The last time I checked, there were 2 political parties, requiring that each one work together to make the Government run. When both parties position is "my way or the highway", it is both parties who are responsible if the Government shuts down.

Since 1976, the Government has "shut down" 17 times, but yet "this time" is going to be costly.

Reid and Pelosis and are not leading us into a government shutdown which by the way is very costly to the American people.

Erik makes some good points. And I like the fact that he attaches his name to his posts and writes letters which are even more in the public view.

There isn't much wrong in the world that Erik does not blame on liberals.

Did you overcook your eggs? No doubt the fault of liberals.

Hi Gavin, I'm making breakfast and have the Outlaw Josey Wales playing on my laptop. Scrambled eggs, organic, with red onion, green pepper and some goat cheese, along with a slice of wheat toast.

Our top government leader views the opposite political party as the opponent and spends more time trying to intervene and hamper them as compared to protecting citizens.

The problem to me seems to be that government has gotten so massive they can't even manage themselves, let alone defense contractors that they are contracting out the responsibility of performing security clearances. This was a total breakdown of the system and until they get the integrity back into the security clearance system, you will continue to see these clearances handed out like candy.
