I'm not sure that this 'pet peeve' warrants a letter to the editor of a newspaper, but as long as the topic has been raised, my 2 (top) usage pet peeves are "We seen that movie" and "Happy belated birthday"

Sham- while on YouTube did you read about the alien moon bases? After viewing those videos, I am totally convinced those bases exist. And I was shown how the Apollo 11 moon landing was really filmed in Arizona. Now I'm really waiting for the documentary how Benghazi didn't really happen. It was all staged to recruit more terrorists. Thank God for YouTube!!!

Sham @6:35- You just described the President you voted for. Look at how the world now looks at the U.S. with this man. Tea Party members are geniuses compared to the man sitting in the Oval Office. All you need to be a community organizer is to be a Minority and a racist. He proved that. Also needed is a billionaire benefactor with a Marxist plan for the world.

"The problem here isn't with the form of the word, it is the wrong word. If you say that you feel bad, then bad is an adjective and describes you, in essence meaning that you feel that you are bad. If you say you feel badly, it is an adverb and means that your feelings aren't working properly. It would be more appropriate to say that you feel sad or wrong or whatever word you think describe how you feel about yourself in this situation.

That has long been on of the phrases that makes me grimace when I hear it." - enigma
