"There's another budget crisis in Washington, and it's unfolding inside the Democratic party. The Democratic National Committee remains so deeply in the hole from spending in the last election that it is struggling to pay its own vendors.....The Democrats' numbers speak for themselves: Through August, 10 months after helping President Obama secure a second term, the DNC owed its various creditors a total of $18.1 million........And senior strategists close to the DNC say they worry the organization appears to have no road map back to solvency. "They really thought they could get this money raised by the summer," one said, "but the fact is, from talking to people over there, they have no real plan for how to solve this.""---CNNMoney

Hopefully those that provided food or entertainment were pre-paid. Democrats know how to use other's money and run up debt.

There sure are some snide comments on this thread...I'm surprised posters like @thinblueline didn't blame all of Wmspt's ills on President Obama. What a shame some folks would rather cast nasturtiums than just get to work.

Uninformed people are falling for it. Show me the statistics?? -Mim

Mim, go to cityrating dot com for the crime statistics of Williamsport and you will see that Williamsport's crime index is not only higher than the Pennsylvania average, but the national average. Perhaps you need to get better informed on what's happening in your rentals. I also find it curious that you come down on Williamsport leadership when you don't even live in Williamsport.

I see Cliff Reiders, Tim Miller and Eric Lindhart walking thru the tradesman blocks of williamsport everyday! Hah! (NEVER)Its easy to have a miscued opinion from behind your computers. Walk the walk, come on down to the tradesman blocks . Our mayor should be promoting this city? These people are snowballing the good people of Williamsport downhill. Try renting an apartment right now in Williamsport. There are no carjackings, kidnappings, random drive by shootings here. In my opinion it is little boys trying to be gang bangers in front of their girlfriends. These 16 year olds are manipulating this town to spend millions & ruin all good poeple have worked hard to accomplish here. We have 2 prestigious colleges , a state of the art medical center, tree lined street, Victorian ladies yet certain entities have not done their job for 5 years and are looking for a scapegoat. Uninformed people are falling for it. Show me the statistics??
