Mayor wants to repair pool at Memorial Park, close 1 in East End

Memorial Pool is the one aquatic facility the city appears ready to invest in. Mayor Gabriel J. Campana next Thursday will request $250,000 more to pay for repairs in order to open it up by 2015....

1. I think the Mayor just did not want a race riot, since some people in my Memorial Avenue community seem to think that the community only consists of blacks. I am not black and I am in this community. 2. I think they both should be closed until the city actually as cash to spare. With politicians sucking down so much money for personal gain and feeling they need to be paid far more than they are worth, it is unlikely we will ever see money to spare in this city. 3. And let's not forget that the Mayor believes we renters are the only cause of crime in our city!

for a government that CLAIMS its all out of money there seems to be a huge flow of lets ask for millions for this and that going on. seems there is always governmental money floating around somewhere. FIX THE ECONOMY AND CRIME... FIX THE IMPORTANT STUFF. the pools can wait.
