"Poor Mr. Underwood........."

That's all I needed to read to know who wrote this pile of buffalo chips. Chuck, in the words of William Shatner: "Get a life!"

"Poor Mr. Underwood"?

There is no aspect of the human endeavor at which "poor Mr. Underwood" wouldn't clean your clock.

I applaud Mr. Reeder for commenting on every one of Phil's letters.

Mr. Reeder is so delusional that he makes the case of individual liberty by driving everyone away from socialism.

Mr. Reeder:

We enter into employment, marriage and community by choice.

You advocate for a government that would make those choices for you.

Human beings have a dependent nature starting with birth. -Reeder

The problem is a lot of people never learn to become independent and government feels it's their job to continue to support these people long after they leave the womb.

Well we just read about Chuck's life and now he wants the rest of us to go down the same rat hole he's in.

I'll pass!

Mr. Reeder, it's time for you to be a man. Pull up your under britches and stop advocating and relying on others for your existence.

If you get past the 'Poor Mr Underwood" and the fact that Chuck wrote the letter, Chuck makes a good point that we are not solitary creatures and have necessarily banded together for survival and order.

We can disagree on the politics of Socialism and Free Market, but give Chuck credit where it's due. That is a good point he made.

Mr. Reeder obviously has a fixation on Phil Underwood. I think we should keep available Chuck's writings here to make the jobs of the men in white coats easier. One day they will come for you Chuck, but that Obamacare logo on their coats should keep you at peace. Good luck, Chuck. I know you can get through this.

"Chuck makes a good point that we are not solitary creatures and have necessarily banded together for survival and order." —Mike

True enough, Mike, but Phil never suggested that people "isolate ourselves from one another and do everything just for ourselves" or that "people are totally independent."

Exactly! While what Chuck say's may be true, he totally missed the mark when interpreting Phil's letter.

If Phil said the world was round, Chuck would find some way to argue that it is not. This is one of Chuck's more idiotic attempts, and that's saying something. The only thing that Chuck got right here is that people are born dependent. I'm sure that independence and self-reliance are traits that even Chuck admires if he's not bashing Phil. But Chuck's big complaint here is that he wants people dependent on and beholden to big government. He is a frightened little man who can't bear the thought of not having the 'social safety net' to fall into should his feeble attempts at survival fail. That fear leads to this blinding anger against anyone who speaks out in favor of freedom, and especially Phil.

LOL..............It's getting easier! I knew who wrote this LTE in the first words!!!!

By now, at least 95% of those reading the SG must believe Reeder is mentally unstable and writes his letters during periods he is off his meds!

I'm guessing your inability, to decipher "big"-words, was an issue, long-before you'd read any of his letters/replies.

Yes Sham. These parasites can't force the government to take care of them. It's the government's fault because it pays people to become dependent on it. These are weak willed people with no character and the government is manipulating them. If they had to get a job to survive, they would. I guess you would blame the TEA Party. You blame them for everything else.

Chuck, I have some friendly advice for you. Give up this stupid vendetta that you have against Phil. It not only makes you look petty and stupid. I know that you are petty and stupid, but you don't have to advertise it. Doesn't it tell you something that even other liberals won't come on and defend this stuff. OK, Sham will, but he's even more petty and stupid than you. Let it go Chuck.

Actually Enigma, Shaman is referring to our men and women in the armed forces. Pretty pitiful huh? A coward that never served gets joy in mocking those that have.
