Most of the recent polls on Obamacare put its disapproval rating at about 70 percent, as near as I can tell....

The right gets mired in their own lies.

Yes, your judgement is wrong. Cite the polls. I'm guessing they were pulled from the Beckster's Backside.

Hello Buff. I like Kimmel's show. He does that segment called "lie-witness news" quite often, asking people on the street some inane, trick question. One of my favorites was several months ago, not long after the new Pope was chosen. They were asked how they felt about the new Pope being Jewish. Amazing how many took it as a legitimate, sensible question.

No problem Erik.

In the current climate of political polarization I think it's important to point out where we agree.

Hi erik.. I think it's quite funny to note that a young man named connely (sp?) who was cited by Ted Cruz during his irony filled rant as being unhappy with the program is quite grateful for its existence..

Buff:

Go to the ACA page on Facebook or anywhere and you will see comments near universally upset with the reality of the program.

Mr. Reeder:

You forgot to say that people don't like Obamacare because they are racists.

Good morning all, CM is correct, Jimmy Kimmel did a recent street level survey, widely available on the internet, in which he asked people which they preferred, ACA or Obamacare. It seems a sizeable portion of the populace is unaware that they are the same thing. I think that people are playing with the word Obamacare, if asked if they like many core tenets of the law, people strongly agree. If asked in a general fashion if they like Obamacare, more people choose no. Curious indeed.. I wonder what the same slice of Americana, either way, would say if the law were called Bushcare.. or Cheyneycare.

Hey Zook the right doesn't use logic. There is no logic for the left to hear from the right.

Erik, it was very easy. I have said that before, several times actually, perhaps you had not noticed.

Hey Genno, you're using logic. Liberals don't understand logic, only control.

The only hypocrisy that is on display here is from the right with erik as the head hypocrite.

LOL

If you ask people to if they prefer Obamacare or ACA, they will choose ACA overwhelmingly and state they fear Obamacare. All that the right manage to do was create a fear about Obama not the program for health care.

Jerry:

Thank you. I know that wasn't easy.

We are a nation of laws, not a nation of men.

change the laws if they do not work.

Erik makes and excellent point.

Democrats HAVE tried to pick and choose which laws are settled and which are not.

DOMA and Immigration are two obvious examples where the Executive has just chosen not to enforce the law.

Mike I agree, and with bipartisan cooperation they could review this law and amend it so it makes sense and works for everyone. Both sides of the aisle are keeping this from happening. One side wants to keep it as it and the other side wants to get rid of it all together. Time will tell just how much this will impact the quality of our care, the national debt and our economy.

I'd like to see the Sun Gazette do a story about people locally who have signed up for a health care plan online, what tier they chose, how much it will cost, etc.

Rick, there may be some that like certain parts of the ACA, like myself who likes the preexisting and child coverage until age 26, but we also think the ACA package as a whole is a trainwreck.

When liberals argue for gay marriage, we are told that laws like DOMA must be swept away.

When liberals defend the ACA, we are told it is the law and it is settled.

Liberal hypocrisy on display!
