"5" people tweeted in to Senator Yaws' town hall. "He" saw it as a success and we wonder why nothing gets done in Harrisburg....

If you can get anyone to run against him he will be re-elected. If I remember correctly he ran on both tickets.

Maybe it's a good sign that only five people are stupid enough to think that tweeting a town hall meeting counts as participating in the process. Any politician who uses twitter to take comments and questions, definitely deserves whatever ridicule comes their way as a result. It's just my opinion, but Twitter is the dumbest thing ever to hit the internet. Twitter is for twits.

Electronic town halls are here to stay.

It is not easily understood by older generations, but electronic communication is preferred by our youth and should be catered to.

In sales, there are traditional customers who want a paper brochure and binders of information while the younger customers want electronic versions of everything and access via your website.

The world changes and we all have to keep up.

PS: I used Twitter for 2 years and dropped it as I saw little benefit.
