All laws need to be updated and reviewed. I understand the reasons for laws being enacted in the first place. Usually they fit a time when the law was absolutely needed to counterbalance some major inequity in the system at that time. These laws need to be flexible and reviewed at lead every two to three years to ensure they meet the needs of the present status of things. Reform is always needed. Things are always changing and there is always a need to adapt. Those who oppose change usually have some sort of niche worked in their favor that they wish to capitalize on. Laws should have a term in office just like politicians.
