Who in the world suggested that Jen Lundy kneel in front of all of those business men? She is a business woman in her own right! None of them are kneeling. That is not a funny picture or a positive role model for the daughters of our community! Yuck!

How exciting! My grandchildren will have clean water and Pennsylvania roads will be a bit safer this year! I'm sure there were naysayers as far back as when the wheel was invented. The fact that there is an entity, like Eureka, who has educated engineers, chemists, scientist and environmentalist with a solution to purify water down to distillation will meet with negativity. I cannot imagine why, but this is why I love America. Ms. Lundy is highly respected among the business men who attended and as you can see, they put her in the forefront to show their thankful recognition. I encourage Jakesmom and Mismac to go to urbandictionary**** and look up the word "naysayer".

Chrisertelo, the fact that you believe the industry hype concerning the clean water and safe roads is very telling. If the gas industry was not completely unconcerned about the safety of our communities we wouldn't have to worry about their overworked drivers being a danger. And as far as clean water, do you know what the quality of the water coming out of these de-wasting plants is? I am sure you do not, so stop making anecdotal statements, you know not of what you speak. It is wonderful that companies like Lundy Construction are able to build things in this area, it is a shame that the short sighted fools running the industry and government in this area do not have the skill necessary to drive us in the right direction. Lundy Construction is a great company and Ms Lundy is a fine business person, I sure wish they would get the opportunity to build some sustainable infrastructure in our area instead of all this worthless crap perpetuating a short term and destructive industry.

not a naysayer...just tired of seeing women, strong business women at that, bow down to men. How about in the next photo a single man kneel in front of the group that is standing. See how stupid that would look?

Jakesmom, I agree wholeheartedly and had to bite my tongue yesterday so as to not say something uncouth.

The fact is, the picture is endicative of how rich, white, male entrepreneurs view women and their roles in society....I'll just leave it at that.

I know not know of the trucking industry issues. I happen to know very well the quality of water coming out of the Eureka Resources plant and it is cleaner than the water in the existing local tributaries. I also am aware of every chemical that is in the water when Eureka receives it. I also am aware of the technology that removes all the chemicals. I also was present when Ms. Lundy chose to place herself in that very position. There was no thought of "rich, white, male" anything.

I will stick to my " anecdotal statements" as it would be inappropriate to give away technology information. Dan Ertel,(also an Eagle Scout) and the wonderful team of Eureka Resources has been diligent in their research and application. Eureka has been inspected by EVERY environmental entity you can think of. The technology is so innovative that several colleges have asked to bring their engineer and chemistry students to tour the Eureka plant for which they receive accolades Alas, I do know of what I speak! Do you?

Who knows why she placed herself in that position. She probably did not even think about it. It was probably an unconscious decision. But, that just goes to show how roles and expectations are placed on women in society. Maybe the photographer should have said something. I just hope that next picture will be different. So that she will look like the strong businesswoman she is and not someone who has to kneel in front of a bunch of men. That is all I am saying. I am not saying how she really is, just how the picture looks.
