I am concerned

October 21, 2013

I’m concerned because the authorities can now walk up to me, arrest me, and put me in prison for no reason at all; never to see my family or friends again....

less than 5% unemployment, less than $2 a gallon gas, $1 loaf of bread,...tinfoil

He was directly responsible for this? I thought the market determined these things.

Let's try this again slowly, John...

I asked you to list one, in fact, list all 50.

Bobbie - did you imagine there are Caucasian voters in Philly's 54th ward. Do you even know where the 54th ward is? No one came out to vote for Romney, so what. Find one, just one voter who claims they were intimidated by these two? Again, please familiarize yourself with the 54th before you comment.

Yep not prosecuting them "New Black Panthers" gave him 100% of the 54 Philly wards .-tinfoil#1

Funny that you should bring up lack of prosecutions. I am still miffed at him for not bringing charges against "W", & the rest of his pack for war crimes. Riddle me this tin foil, can you name any major accomplishments of the "W" train wreck period?

. I just feel the president could do more by working with black leadership to discuss the real issues.-Capricorn1

Just what are the "real" issues? There are many whom(unfortunately)grow up in a single parent households. I know from your previous posts what some of the stats are. What in your opinion causes this?-Scott

Scott, I never said he should only represent one segment of the population, but I am disappointed that he didn't seize the opportunity to have the courage to discuss the REAL issues. What better man in such a powerful position to take a stand? I've had the opportunity to work with many, many young black men and women from all walks of life across the country. Part of being their mentor is sitting down with them and discussing their past and the problems they had throughout life. While racism is still an issue, most have admitted that it's used all too often as a crutch. The thing the majority agreed on, is the lack of leadership in their lives because so many didn't have a father in their lives. Many of them joined the military to get that structure and leadership they so desperately wanted. Their lives were filled with chaos and they had no one to look up to or guide them. I just feel the president could do more by working with black leadership to discuss the real issues.

Show me the accomplishments he has made that addresses the issues that blacks face-Capicorn1

I have heard this criticism many times from you. It is your opinion, and you are fully entitled to it. However do you think that he was elected to represent only one segment of the population of the country? I am sure there would be volumes to say if he did just that. I will add however one thing that all but the most venomous of his opponents(IMHO) would see as a positive for race relations. A speech he gave on 3/18/08.-Scott

Welllllllllllllll..."NOTHING", but....

*

See:

The Washington Monthly - The Magazine - Obama’s Top 50 Accomplishments -Shaman

That list does nothing but proves my point regarding the many issues that blacks face. When has he had the courage to speak publicly within black communities regarding the 75% illegitimacy rate among blacks that leads to much of their problems? What steps has he taken to help reduce the epidemic of blacks killing blacks? Didn't see anything in your hollow list that in any way helps his people and the problems they face." - Capricorn1

*

Hey...I've recognized White Presidents' policies have appeared custom-fit (primarily) for the White/Anglo-population, but...much to YOUR displeasure...Obama is a "bigger man" than to (merely) custom-fit HIS Presidency for the Black-population.

"I have no problem with the decriminalization of marijuana. However, IMO doing the same for drugs such as h e r o i n, cocaine, meth and many others, would be a huge mistake. The failure of the war on drugs should not be used as justification for legalization. IMO they didn't spend enough of the money and resources on treating the addiction and that's why it's been a failure." - Capricorn1
